Really? Dang, I was just there Saturday and I never go there anymore (since the merger and they stopped doing doublers). Question for you: what about SavingStar and Albertson’s. I know they have to track your purchases by you using your rewards card but when I was there Saturday the cashier said they don’t use the cards anymore so he wanted to chuck it…does that mean that they no longer do savingstar? I did the free tuna deal a couple weeks ago and was credited the amount….
I kept my Jewel card, which is an Albertsons store and always insist the cashiers scan it so I get Savingstar credit. This was mentioned on Savingstar’s website, I believe they said anyone who threw their cards out can use a Upromise card. Keep your card, make them scan it.
I do self checkout on small orders so I dont have to fight the cashiers about it.
