Thanks Colin for the Target deal on slippers … i got a ton as gifts for valentines for my husband , son, friends …awesome !!!!!! I have save hundreds of dollars thanks to you…
PS : I have the same coat you have and I love it 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yay! Glad to hear you were able to take advantage of the slippers deal! AND I agree – the coat rocks! 😉

Yes 12 is about the age to start him with deodorant. If he want to use any of the sprays lets just hope he is not like my 13 year old daughter who thinks you need 1/2 a can 😉

  3. Sandra

My son is 24 now, but when he was 14 or so, it seemed like he was coating himself in Axe in lieu of showers : )

  4. Suzie

My son is 12 and YES we just started buying him Axe deodorant and also he asked for cologne for Christmas. He is our baby and it doesn’t seem right for them to be growing up and needing these things already! 🙁

BTW his feet have started to smell too! :/

  6. Amy

Lol. My husband and I were just talking about this! We weere both trying to remember when we started using deoterant. It was aournd 11 or 12 for both of us.

My son is 12 and has been wearing deodorant for a few years now! If your son is starting to have an odor about him, it’s time. All the boys use Axe in the locker room after gym so I bought him Axe deodorant, but I’m sensitive to anything scented so he does not have any body spray/cologne. Boys this age are notorious for using way too much of it, so teach him to use it sparingly. And yes, his feet do stink at times. I’m sure that is going to get worse too… Sad that our babies our growing up. ):

My son is 11. He just asked me to buy him axe spray. Lots of his friends use this product. I have since heard that’s the age boys start to like these products especially Axe. I love your videos Collin!! Thank u

  9. Autumn

It usually starts happening in 3rd or 4th grade. I am a teacher so I related it to more of what grade they are in. I do have an 8 year old in my room who already needs deodorant though so it can start even earlier.

  10. Zosia

    Collin,
I got the same coat and i love it! Got a lot of complements, thank you!
You look great in it !

Oh yes, they definitely need deodorant by 12. Have dad talk to him about hygiene – making sure he actually uses soap and washcloth under his arms (I’ve found boys have a tendency to squirt some soap in their hands and kind of run it over themselves and think that is good enough!). He’s probably getting hair under his arms which lends to the smell. PLEASE have dad talk to him about not using too much product and not combining all things Axe. My eldest wanted Axe body wash, Axe deodorant, Axe body spray… whew, he could clear a room! We finally had to tell him he had to pick one! LOL

  12. Kim

Our kids middle school gym teacher actually TOLD us to buy deodorant for your kids at the back to school open house! OMG !!! I think that was 5th or 6th grade. It’s been a few years. And yes the boys LOVE the AXE products ( esp. the spray!) and then they use WAY too much. I’ve told our son to use it sparingly but his friends parents don’t seem to have that same conversation..ugh!! It’s killer when you go to pick up a bunch of boys to go to the basketball game and your car is filled with 5 boys all wearing different scents of AXE body spray ….LOL….Good luck! Let the games begin. The start of a challenging few years!
