CVS Advisor Panel = FREE Extra Care Bucks

I mentioned this a while back but thought it would be great to remind all of you about an awesome (and FREE!) program offered by CVS called the CVS Advisor Panel. Just sign up to become a member of this panel and CVS will email you online surveys throughout the year to gather your input about CVS stores, products and services. Complete the surveys and you will snag self-printable CVS Extra Bucks typically valued from $5 to $15! Awesome!

Check out the email I received from Hip2Save reader Rachel:

I just got an email from CVS/pharmacy about a prescription medication survey. It was about 15 minutes long and because I qualified they gave me a $15 extra buck coupon! They are offering up $2 ECB for those who don’t qualify. SO psyched!

(Thanks, Rachel!)

I just got a $10 survey the other day!

    • Crescent City Couponer

I’ve had two surveys recent;y. One was about a new store; the other was about flu shots at CVS.

  2. Mary

I signed up last year and finally got the same survey. It was easy and took about 10 minutes. Got my $15 in extra care bucks and used them today to score some really nice deals.

  3. Leanne

I never get any surveys ! I’m so jealous lol

  4. Teetee

I never get any surveys either. Signed up last year! I thought it was just me.

    • Diane L.

I believe I’ve been a member for about 3 years, and I think I’ve received 4 surveys. They don’t come very often!

  5. Conswalla

I completed a survey last week and got a $10.00 ECB! NICE!

  6. spi_cy13

I received a $5 ECB. Not bad at all! 🙂

  7. Roxy

Thanks for posting about it. I just checked my other email and I had a survey about their new acne products. I received 5 ECB for it. Yay!

  8. Bunny

I’ve done two surveys for them recently. Each survey states that you will get your ECBs at a later date. So far I haven’t received my ECB for either one. It is very unfuriating that I have continue to follow up with them to get my $$. Has anyone else come across this issue?

    • Marcia

Bunny, When I have received a request to do a survey it has been in my inbox of my e-mail account. But when my ECB have come through for doing the survey, they show up in my junk e-mail. I did one a week or so ago and sure enough this past week the ECB showed up in my junk e-mail. Previous experience taught me to watch for them there. Don’t know if that is your issue but a consideration.

When you complete the survey, it automatically pops up the link to print the extrabuck or if you cant print it, they send the link to your email immediately. are you sure you’re completing an advisor panal survey and not a cvs purchase survey?

    • June Gwinn

I agree with you. The ECB should pop up after completing the survey. I emailed them about a survey I took on Jan 14th. Response the next day said I would get it by the date in the original email, which was “on or before Jan 31”. I did receive it a few days later, but not the $10 I was expecting. Even though I answered a number of questions, apparently I didn’t qualify and only received $2. I answered another survey on the 24th, which took much longer – it was 60 questions. I am sure I qualified for that one. I should receive $15 on or before Feb 21. That is way too long!

    • Bunny

Thanks to everyone who replied. I’ve done other CVS surveys in the past and got an automatic pop up to the link. Both of these times I did not. Like June, I got a response that I would get it by the date in the original email, which was “on or before Jan 31”. Still waiting ;-(

  9. Lissette

Woohoo! I didn’t know about this one. Thanks Collin!

somebody please help! ok so I lost my extra care card a long time ago and currently I just use my number, I would like to sign up for the cvs advisor but it says I need an extra care card number, what do I do??

    • Crescent City Couponer

Call 800-SHOPCVS to request a replacement. They should also be able to tell you your card number.

      • cassandra arriaga

        thank you

  11. She

I just filled out the app by putting in my info such as name/ address and it said i don’t qualify? How can they base the surveys on that info, i dont get it.

  12. Ivy

I’ve gotten three surveys within 10 days I was “rejected” from two but try still gave me 2ECB for each and one last night for 5.
9ECB total took less than 10 minutes all together, and thanks to Collin these will stretch out to about $50 worth of product or more.

    Bunny
I completed the survey and did not receive my ecb’s. I emailed cvs using a link from the survey. Two days later I Received an email from them with $10 ecb’s.

  14. Dino

Yay! As I was checking my email I got a coupon from CVs 5/15 so,exited 😉

  15. Crystal

I signed up with them for over a year now and have never gotten any surveys.

  16. Dino

About 4 months ago cashier asked me if I like to provide an email to go with my CVs card since I been getting coupons 😆

  17. Shelley

All I have ever gotten for doing surveys is an entry into their sweepstakes. i wish I could get ECBs instead!

  18. Winnie

I think I received a link a few months back… but I’m so paranoid that I thought it was a link that might contain a virus so didn’t click it 🙁

  19. yan16

Does the ecbs from survey connected to the card? Can I give it to someone else if I will not use it?

    • Meli

Yes, the bucks are connected to your card so you can’t give it to someone else unless you let them use your card.

  20. mindy

I just printed my $10 yesterday!

  21. Debbie

I did a survey and didn’t qualify but received $2.00 in ecbs anyway. I printed them and went to use the next day- it had expired two days before I took the survey! lol oh well

  22. Dawn

Help, I don’t understand how you sign up. I clicked join and it asked for my extra care card, name and address and then asked me one question and said I didn’t qualify for the survey. Does this mean I am signed up? I didn’t get to create a login or anything.

  23. Marsha

I just did the panel survey about 10 minutes ago and as soon as I was finished it popped up the coupon for $15 ecb to print. It also sent an email incase I wanted to print it later. This was the first one I ever got from them and I had signed up almost a year ago.

    • Elizabeth

Same here first one. I signed up last Oct. I got 15 ECB.

  24. sarah

Got 5 today thanks. Hadnt checked my email yet today

  25. Jennifer Keyser

I did a survey yesterday and I got $5.00 ECB!

  26. Sue

When I first signed up over two years ago, I completed a few surveys and received online % off coupons often. About a year ago that all dried up and I (my sister as well) have not received anything since. I really appreciated the savings but now its not worth my gas to drive across town to shop at CVS. Enjoy it while it lasts.

  27. Dayana

i clicked on the link to sign up and when i enter my email it says can’t access my information. try again. Not sure since i’ve never signed up. has anyone had this problem?

  28. Lily

I just completed a flu survey and it rewarded me $10 EBC. Yay.

  29. maria

    Me encanta cvs…es mi faborita
