I decided to give this pizza recipe a dry run. I used my dough recipe (plus added a little powdered garlic and pizza seasoning). I only added half the fresh garlic and did half olive oil and halt melted butter. I put fresh “pizza veggies” (sliced tomatoes, bell peppers and olives) in the hole in the middle of the bread ring when I served it. It turned out great. When my boyfriends kids come for dinner tomorrow, I know what to expect and I’ll serve it with dinner salads.

Cool, i’ll have to check them out! Hoping they dont have hydrogenated oil , or the coupon fairy will be present

Jennine, being a coupon fairy is so awesome, isn’t it? Though I would urge caution about leaving printables lying about, as they are linked to your own IP and if someone should happen to redeem yours improperly or photocopy your coupon, you can get banned from printing from c.com ๐Ÿ™

Tried two flavors of the biscuits, cheese and garlic, didn’t care for either. There was almost no cheese or garlic flavor and, even though the biscuits were throughly baked to a deep golden brown, the biscuits were so soft that a small amount of butter turned them doughy. IMO Pillsbury biscuits taste much better.

The sweet rolls are. 3.47 at my Walmart. But they are way better tasting then the grands sweet rolls.

I have tried the crescent rolls from Pep Farms—-delicious! Good home made taste. The dough is a little sticky and hard to separate, so mine were not as pretty as I wanted them. Maybe my pkg was out of the refrigerator too long. I can’t wait to try them again! I found them at WalMart for the same price as the competing brand.
