Same here. I’m bummed because my son would have loved the chest for his birthday. I just ended up canceling the order. I didn’t mind paying for shipping if we could her the free chest but there’s no need to pay $8 extra in shipping if I can pick up the item in the store.
Removed the storage box from me as I hit the order button 🙁
If I am doing pickup and store and it says it’s in stock but won’t let me add to cart, will it add it automatically when I but the other eligible item? Thanks!

I ordered pick up at store (i ordered the creeper and tnt block) – the chest was ordered automatically and I got a confirmation and a follow up email. Hopefully it works.
My order went through and I wasn’t notified that I wasn’t getting the storage block. Maybe it’s an active deal after all

Tam, I agree!! Lol! Although I play other games (as a 31year old woman should!! Lol) but Minecraft is awesome. Plus its a game my 5 year old can play together and build our own little world!!
I also got the msg that the chest had been removed from my order. I emailed customer service and they already replied that it was still part of my order it is just back ordered so it will arrive later than my other item. So it may still be worth a shot ladies!
I ordered too, and got the message that it was taken off my ordering right after hitting order button. Then my second confirmation came and said it is not a cancellation, but it is delayed and will be shipped later. Whew.. My sons favorite..will be a great gift if I get both by March 11th for his bday!
I tried to do two separate orders each store pick up since it said 1 per order but after the first one it didn’t add the storage chest. Was really hoping to get one for each of my kiddos. Oh well if the other one doesn’t get canceled I’ll still be happy.
I just chatted with customer service and she said that it’s while supplies last and wouldn’t make two shipments. She advised me to take my receipt into the store and ask if they would honor it. I chose not to order since there’s no guarantee I would get the storage chest. I hope everybody else got theirs though!
I tried to do instore pick up and it only comes up with the one item in the cart and wont add the storage chest even though it says it is available at my local store. Has anyone had this problem or ended up with getting the chest added after they paid?
Heads up shows on my order as added to cart for store pickup I waited and called because my store confirmation does not have it. Even though it shows at store it is most likely out of stock now it have to call and cancel because I am not driving thirty minutes for this. It showed just fine when I ordered it so be careful.
I called my local store. Because it’s in stock, they said they would “make it work” for me.
Is this deal honored in store? There is a chest showing in stock at my store so if I go in and buy another item with the chest, will the chest be free? Or… Is this an “online only” deal?

FYI- My store manager honored the deal for me. I had to order at home and chose pick up at store. I took the order page with me that states it is supposed to come with the storage chest. My store had about 10 chests left. Worth a shot to ask at the store!! One happy Birthday boy here!
I was able to get this honored in store, but I had to physically get on their computer and show them, despite calling ahead. The manager couldn’t believe the deal and gave me a smidgen of a hard time.
My store honored it, they weren’t ok with it at first because it was an online only deal (I did it store pick up) but then the manager said I could have it for a penny. When it came time to give him the penny he said never mind and gave it to us for free. G’luck to everyone else.
It doesn’t say anywhere on the website that it’s an online only deal, so technically it’s not! There was only 1 Toys R Us in town that carried the chest. They looked up the deal on their computer and said they had to give it to me for a penny, which was fine by me! So glad, my oldest son is going to be excited!
A store ou here also honored it after talking with two different managers. Kept saying it was online only deal (where I don’t know) they couldn’t believe the deal though
Went today ladies and also got it for a penny with the plush Mooshroom! My 5 year old freaked out!!! Thank you!

I believe at this point you can only get it if you can find a store that has some in stock. I has grab about three of these sense the holidays. If you can get one order through the store pickup there is a decent chance they actually have it in the store. Advise order anything that qualifies that is at that same store. Then exchanging the Minecraft item if that is not the one you want. I emailed Jaz Wares because i find this promotion to be very odd. I think they want to make money off people being able to purchase the chest.
