Does anyone have these? How does Celiste boot do in the snow?

  2. diane

FYI – return shipping is VERY expensive…

    • Ashli

You are absolutely correct! I stopped buying things from 6pm.com b/c most of their sizing is off so you lose money on their “great deals” by having to pay for return shipping!

      • crystal

Agreed! And there customer service is just AWFUL. Generated responses that don’t even answer what your asking just tell you to ship back. The last order was THERE mistake and they still expected me to ship back. Never again will I order from 6PM

Does anyone know how the Celeste boots fit (like on med, & wide feet & how the fit runs) ?

    • thecents2save

Their sizing really varies. For example I am about an 8.5. I have a pair of Ugg Classic Short boots in an 8 and they fit like a dream. However, when I ordered slippers using the same sizing, they were way too small. You really have to find the style available on a website somewhere and read the reviews for the specific style. I just read some reviews on the Celeste on Nordstroms website and I will be ordering a 9 rather than an 8 now.

Does anyone know if these fit for wide calves? I have trouble fitting into the classic tall ones & in the search for Uggs that fit wide calves.

    • J

I have the same problem. If you find a lace up pair that go up to your calves you will be fine.

I cannot wait until Uggs go out of style. They’re so ugly… People just wear them to fit in.

    • K

Or because they are warm and comfortable

    • Elizabeth

Everyone likes different things. I own a pair of uggs because of the comfort. Because of a medical condition 99% of shoes are extremely painful for me to wear, not my uggs.

      • Luvlife❤

Same plus with a spinal injury they are easy to slide on with out having complete feeling and keeps them warm in my chair.

I wore many different “cheaper” brands before succumbing to the incredulous UGG prices. Once you try a pair you will never wear anything else again. I got my first pair this year when I won a Victoria’s Secret Angels card. They are pretty amazing. In my experience, most people that I have come across that make comments about the UGG ascetic or price, have never tried or owned a pair (there are many styles, not just the “Classic” boot that everyone associates as “Ugly Uggs”). Oh and being 35 years old and a wife and mother of 3, “fitting in” is the least of my worries. 🙂

I wear them because I have wide feet and a very high arch, it’s difficult for me to find shoes that fit properly and are comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time. I actually wish they would go out of style too because I don’t like wearing the same thing as everybody else…

    • J

So not true! I don’t particularly like the style either but with the cold weather and this ton of snow I don’t have to worry about my feet being cold. And being pregnant with swollen feet, my uggs are probably the only things that will fit on my feet right now.

I bought the bailey bow bling…but for way cheaper through Amazon, thanks 6pm for the nice pictures though.

I have a grey pair and they are great for snowstorms. I have submerged these in a foot of ice cold puddles during the last ice/sleet storm and they still look brand new. These arent the best for traction in high mounds of hard snow unless you are stomping your feet. I have had them for over a tear now and they are just as comfy.

  8. Amy Stotts

I sooooo wish I could spend that kind of money on myself, but I have bought myself some off brand ones…not comfortable at all. My cousin’s girlfriend wears a cute pair of uggs to our holiday gatherings called the Katerina Plaid- they’re $200 on 6pm!!!

6PM has the worst customer service. They pretend they are offering a “deal” but their sizing is off & their customer service is just wretched. Be prepared to spend allot more to ship back & don’t try and ask them a question, because like someone said above they give generalized terrible answers to your concerns. Terrible customer service
