Brenda it took awhile for me to ever get picked for a party and I even gave up awhile cause I was discouraged but I’m so glad to report I got chosen to host his past weekend for a Pull Ups party and it was great! So I’m here to tell you don’t give up just keep trying 🙂

Don’t bother doing all the “extra” stuff. It won’t help you at all. Save your time. I have 4 boys ages 2, 4, 6 and 9. I did EVERYTHING possible for the Duplo Jake/Planes party, and didn’t get selected. It totally Sucked. I posted something every day, and tons of pictures and about 8 videos. Didn’t matter, I still got a rejection message. And I haven’t hosted for over 3 years now. I have a love/hate relationship with House Party. I would do the “Rebelle” one for my daughter, but it looks like I’d have to purchase them all anyway (with possibly $5 coupons off?)
Try to stay positive! I applied for six months without a party, and have since had nine back-to-back thus far, within the last year! As well, the parties go by location and demographics, so even if we feel our families are right for the experince, Houseparty.com selects based off what their sponsors desire. Seems a little late for turbo tax? I’ve filed and received my refunds already, as have many of my friends.

I did the fisher price party (wow!!) and Nicolas sparks the lucky one party. I love house party, but only apply for ones I really really want. I’ll skip these and let others who are more interested possibly be selected.
