I looked up some reviews and I think I’ll stick with swagbucks. If anyone does sign up, they recommend making a separate email address.

I’ve been a member of InboxDollars for YEARS! How much you make really does depend on how much time and work you’re willing to do on their site. I find it worth it for a little extra cash though.

My only complaint with this site is as soon as you cash out your first $30…you rarely get any emails…..I only did the emails, and once in a while some of the videos….it took me about a year to reach $30….HTH

  4. axhilli

To me it isn’t worth it takes a long time to earn enough to cash out, a very long time. Swag bucks Is way better.

      I agree!

I agree!!! It takes forever to get enough to cash out. I’ve been at $22 for about 6 months. I finally gave up. I HATE taking surveys and after 3-5 minutes or more it kicks you out as unqualified/too many like survey takers/survey full, etc. Ugh!

Thanks for the input! I had been debating on signing up for inbox, but I’ll just stick with swagbucks & my points.

I received my first payout back in December 2013. It took me 5 months to get $30.00 lol, but I never really logged on that often. You have to make at least $30 to cash out and they charge $3 to process it (my total cash out was $27 and change). After you get your check or card they put the $3 back into your account. It is now February and I am at $24. You definitely have to do surveys on this site to cash out faster; I hate surveys. You also have to keep your account active or they will close it for inactivity. And you definitely will have to make a new email, you will get so much spam. I like the fact that they give you a Visa card so you won’t have to deal with Paypal. There are other sites wayyy better than this one, but I like to join all of them because it’s free money regardless lol.

      Exact same feeling here

  8. Kelly K

I did get one cash out from them, after I did it I never received another email

  9. Laura

I tried to cash out with them once and never did receive the check and haven’t had an email from them again either. I think sawgbucks and mypoints are much better.

IMO, Ipsos i-say and Receipt Hog are much easier. Ipsos is a survey website but it is not scammy like Inbox Dollars or Swagbucks. Receipt Hog just requires you to scan your retail purchase receipts. I’ve been doing these 2 for years and have cashed out several times to the tune of $100+ for little to no work on my behalf.

Inbox dollars does take awhile before you can cash out if you dont do surveys a lot or dont qualify. I still do it every once in awhile, because while it may take a while, its easy money for very little work, if you just do the emails(make a new email account for it!) and an occasional survey. Ive cashed out for $100, it did take 2 years but i put in very little time actually doing it.

Swagbucks is a million times faster but IMO takes a lot more effort.

did you apply to get a check or did you take their debit card? and if you took the check, did it mess up your account? (if you deposited it into one?) I also want to really know is does it really work.. like when you cash out?

I have not signed up with this site. I always read reviews here first. I prefer opinion outpost and mysurvey. I seem to cash out quick with them and often. I rarely use swagbucks. I find the site overwhelming. Seeing all the positive reviews I may log in and try to earn again. Signed up a long time ago. I do not like any site that is going to send spam or charge me to cash out. Never have that with my other favorite survey sites.

    • Stephanie

I LOVE Opinion Outpost! There’s so many possible surveys to get and you can just keep trying (almost) as many times as you want. It takes awhile to qualify but you can cash out pretty fast. Yesterday I went from 1.50 in my account to like $5

    • Megan

I used to love Opinion Outpost. Lately though, it seems like I spend so much time just trying to qualify for a survey.

Inbox dollars takes FOREVER in my opinion and so many emails. Swagbucks is SO much faster, easier, in less than a month, I’ve accrued $25 in Swagbucks gift cards only doing surveys once in awhile and searches. I would not do Inbox dollars again, not worth it.

How does swagbucks work and why is it so much better than Inbox?

    • Phyllis T.

Aleedabdybdr swagbucks.com is a site that takes very little time to ear $25.00 to $50.00 each month. With a little more effort you could earn so much more. You use a search bar and get points at least 3 times a day (sometimes 4). You can watch videos, do surveys or games. So many other choices. You are not required to do anything you don’t want to. Not into games, find another source. The key is to check swagbucks/facebook periodically throughout the day and find “swagcodes” that help boost your total. The rewards are plentiful. Amazon, paypal, many store gift cards to choose from. If you decide to sign up I would appreciate using my sign in “daddyssweetpea” that enables me to match point to point from your first 1000 points. It’s fun but watch out, it’s addicting!

I have been using inbox dollars for about 6 months. In just the first month alone I made $30. It’s very simple to get to about $15 when you first start but after that you mostly must do surveys to get to $30. It is some work but it’s all worth it when you receive a check. In 6 months I have made about $150 and received a $30 check 5 times.

  16. nicole

I’ve done inbox dollars for about a year and agree- it’s easy to get your first dollars, but it’s a giant hassle to make it to the $30 required to cash out.

  17. whitley

I’ve been using Inbox Dollars for a few years now. I have a separate email address (an old one) that I use only for that site. I just click through the emails regularly & then about once a week I go to the actual website. I’ve only earned 3 $30 checks in the last two years.

  18. Jenny

One easy way to accrue points is to print out coupons for your weekly deals through Inbox Dollars. They’re the same as the ones on coupons.com and I think it’s .05/coupon. Doesn’t sound like a lot, but you’d be surprised how quickly it adds up. I rarely did the surveys (lots of time to invest and you risk not qualifying) but with opening emails and printing out coupons (which takes, what? Less than 5 minutes a day) I got to $30 within 3 months or so. Worth it, but you have to be realistic about how much money you’ll make.

Hye..how can I request a visa cash card?
