    I have a MacBook Pro but it said I can’t read the book on my device -seriously I have a $1000 computer but I need an iPad or iPod to read the book?

  Do you have the latest OS X version running? The iBooks for Mac run on Lion or Mavericks (which is free).

    I am new to ibooks and I couldn’t figure out how to open the book after I downloaded it. It shows up in the purchased folder and said downloaded but when I click on it it just ask me if l want to download it again. Please help?

  I am new to this too. Try clicking on library. The book is in there. I can get to the book but I can’t get it to read out loud?? Any ideas why? I am on my iPhone, could that be it

    Amanda & Tara, when you open the book from your Library, at the top of the page, there is a speaker icon, click on that and there’s a drop-down, select “Start Reading.” If you need to stop it, go back to the speaker and select “Stop Reading.” HTH.

    While downloading the book, I clicked on the “related” tab. There was a list of more books by the author. I checked the prices on them all, and was happy to discover that you can also get “Toy Story Woody’s Aqua Adventure.” for FREE too!!!
