I called all the stores in the Salt Lake valley… None of them have them. Rats!
i checked all 3 sams club in my area this morning and all had plenty, so i didn’t order any on line. i left the house as soon as i saw they had alot. drove to the nearest store and only found 1 on the shelve. someone had just pulled all, yes…a whole pallet and was holding for someone else.
the front desk checked and the inventory said they had 197 boxes…so who ever bought these would mean they just bought 196 packages ???? thats 784 boxes at 120 baggies each is a total of 94,080 baggies…..what in the world are they doing with these…..
Maybe it was a vet’s office or something where they package things for people to take home? I know when we had our dog fixed, they put 3 syringes of pain medication with instructions inside one of the snack bags and sent it home with us. It may also be something like meals on wheels or a homeless shelter where they package up snacks for people they serve? I imagine some charity that got wind of this could save a lot of money with that deal!
Sounds like someone plans on re-selling them. Even at $1 a box they’d more then double their money. We have people around here that have garage sales every weekend and sell all sorts of coupon products to make $$$. Someone had pulled carts full at our store today, glad I got the 2 boxes I ordered last night!
The pickup section of SAMs at my club was like full if carts of the ziplocks lol!!
I also got a Nicole by opi gel np kit for under $10 apparently it was $50!

They just called me to cancel my order. They said they are out of stock because the price is so low. Oh well.
My Sam’s still had quite a few in stock. I never would have seen the price. They are all the way in the back corner of the store where I usually don’t go.
They had plenty in my michigan store, but i went early this afternoon to get some.
And I have noticed that our Sams club is not using their clearance section, they are stocking stuff on the regular shelves at discount prices. You’d literally have to transverse the whole store to find all the deals. Thanks for the post:)
I ordered this morning to pick up on Sunday.. but have not got the 2nd confirmation and noticed now when I checked online that they are out… Wonder if they will fill my order still??? 🙁
Does anyone know where I can get garbage bags for a good price? The Sam’s in Chicago are all out. I should of ordered last night when they had some in stock. Oh well. Thanks Colin and Allison for letting us know.
Thanks so much for posting this! It was on my “want” list but I couldn’t see spending the regular $9 a box on them. Bought 2 boxes for $3.73 and it will last thought lots of school lunches. What a blessing!
I stopped at Sams in West Mifflin, PA after work (6pm) and they still had about half a big bin of these left. They were in 1/4 of a display during one of the main walkways, back by the dog food. They also had a lot of flooring and microwaves as orange tag display only items. They were on pallets along one of the back aisles against the wall leading to the bakery.
I got 2 this morning in Missouri
I got to give some away to family since there were so many and in 4 packs

Careful they are snack size very all can’t fit snack etc in them!
Just want to give you heads up for those who click n pulled. I went to pick mine up and because of the overwhelming orders they couldn’t even keep track of who they went to. I had to wait nearly 40 min for them to figure out what to do. Finally they figured to look at the confirmation times and they would distribute to early order times until gone.
***So, don’t drive a distance to find that they can’t fill your order.
The manager had to ask me how it was that everyone found out about this reduction in price. She was baffled
My experience was different. I went to customer service and she pointed me to a line of shopping carts all with the ziploc bags in them. Each cart had a name, I just found mine. I did have to take it back to the tobacco counter to pay which took a little while for someone to come around, but overall pretty painless and smooth. There were 10 carts lined up all with just the ziploc bags in them. So my store must have had a lot. Good luck everyone.
