Hi I went to my target tonight to get this deal on pork tenderloin, nature made vitamin c and a few more items on clearance. The guy at the cashier rejected the manufacturer coupons that i got from coupons.com. He said that they are not accepting printed coupons on that website anymore. I forgot what he said about why they’re not accepting anymore or if he even gave me a reason. He said that they started not accepting coupons from that site 3 weeks ago. I was able to use the coupons from my purchases just last week, but I didn’t argue anymore. The line was long and I didnt want to get embarrassed so I just purchased everything coz I can return them anyway (except for the pork tenderloin lol). I didn’t ask to talk to the manager coz I was in shock (I guess lol). Can anybody tell me if this is true? I’m calling target tomorrow to confirm this. I only get my manufacturer coupons from coupons.com and it will be so devastating if I can’t use those coupons anymore. By the way, the target store is at Southern California.. and I forgot to get the name of the guy (lol). Please help me! I’m kind of new to this coupling thing. Thanks a bunch! and God bless you all 🙂
@VF
Which store in So cal did you go to? As far as i know, my two target stores near me (so cal) accepts coupons.com coupons. Once in a while, I will bump into a cashier where he or she will tell me that i can only use 2 identical manufacture coupons but nothing worse than that.
I just used internet printables from coupons.com at my local Target in So Cal and there was no problems. I would call for clarification. 🙂
I used a number of coupons from coupons.com yesterday in NH
the same thing happened to me I went to a target in Dallas, Tx. and the cashier said that they do not take coupons that are printed from the internet, my reaction was really!?!? so I asked to speak to the manager and she told me the same thing, so I told her that is very wierd cause last week I used some of those coupons at that store, the manager said well since I started working at this store we do not take those kind of coupons at that was a few years back, I was like wow very wierd because all the other targets I go to do accept those kind of coupons, so I will be calling Target I told her…so I did, hopefully they did something about it. I have not shoped at that store any more
@Kevin The target store at Norwalk, CA. I’m calling tomorrow to speak to the manager & ask about it before returning the items that I bought. If they decide to still accept my coupons from coupons.com, then I won’t return them anymore. I hope they accept it & give me a store credit for the manufacturer coupons that they rejected. I’m just trying to save some money & my coupons are all legit.
Good for you for taking a stand. I would return everything too. Although I am in another state, my Target clearly does take coupons.com coupons. Not only write but call corporate!
You have up to three days to go back to Target to get your coupon reimbursed. My customer service desk advised me of that the other day. I always have problems with my stacked coupons not coming off during the transaction. I always make a list of the amounts I have and double check before leaving the store. Just go to customer service when you have an issue with the coupons and they will take them and give you the cash back.
I always go to cs immediately if I have issues checking out. That way it gets resolved right then and there bc I might not make it back to target that week.
Watch your receipts, my cartwheel didn’t come off ALL of the items, going back today to get my $ back on a few, kicking myself for being in a hurry yesterday and not checking before I left.
I love cheap cleaning supplies
Thanks so much Collin!! I love the Up & Up brand and I just got back from getting some great deals. I also found a 2 pack of Shout (30oz each) on clearance for $4.58. Not sure if there is a coupon out to match it.
Thanks again!!
I usually these the coupon on the sponges that are a dollar do free
Hi thanks everyone! I already called my local target and the finance manager told me that they are not accepting printed manufacturer’s coupons anymore. She said that all target stores should be implementing it. I mentioned that I was able to use those coupons for a couple of months now. She still insisted that they dont accept it anymore. So I called corporate. He said that it was the manager’s discretion if they will accept coupons from coupons.com based on how the coupons would appear. In general, they accept coupons from the website but it depends on the person ringing you or the manager if they will accept them. It’s just so unfair because I’ve been using those coupons & printing them with the same printer for a couple of months now then this happened. The guy at the cashier did not even take a look at my coupons. He rejected it right away. Even the finance manager said they dont accept those anymore without looking at my coupons. my coupons are all legit.. never altered/ photocopied. Anyway the guy that I spoke with at the corporate offered to give me 2 $3 gift cards for my $7 worth of coupons that were rejected. Now I’m afraid to use my coupons at that store. Will still try to use them at the other stores.
Boo. Waited too late, and now it looks like the $2 off 2 cleaning products coupon is gone.
I’ve been having so much trouble with cartwheel actually giving me all my discounts. So, I actually put all my cartwheel merchandise at the end of the transaction and so that way if my calculated amount doesn’t match the cashier and I can quickly scroll thru them and he or she will manually add the percent off discount to the item. Granted I shop every Saturday for my family and I have 26 cartwheel spots so it gets hairy . But man is it easier to find the errors when you are organized.
