On March 1st, USA Hockey and over 400 local programs across the country are offering up the chance for kiddos to try out Hockey completely FREE as part of Hockey Weekend Across America!
Head on over here to see if there is an available location nearest you. Then, contact the local participating host site for more information. Sounds like fun!
(Thanks, Freebies for a Cause!)
Thanks! I know a little boy who would go crazy over this!
Anyone know if they provide the equipment to use for the day?
Should have kept looking a little more. Looks like they do.
Here is another great hockey program that is free in most places. Check with your areas NIL team or this website.

I contacted my local ice rink (Bayonne). They said that the equipment is provided for the day.
Nancy, good information. Thank you.
Local area dentists must be sponsoring this promo! 🙂
Haha
So disappointed. My email said I needed gloves and warm clothes and a hockey OR bike helmet. That was it. When I called to verify this morning the very rude man told me I wouldn’t want my son playing hockey without a mask and the only thing they would have there are ‘old hockey helmets’ and not a lot of them. Then he informed me my son needed thick gloves and a hockey stick. So disappointed. We didn’t have these things and don’t have the extra $$ right now to purchase them. So we didn’t go:(
