So just a general question about Build a Bear – we have 2-3 bears that have started to come open on their back. Not major, but need to be tighted up. If you bring them in will the stores fix them for you?

    • SherryB

I’m almost positive they will! I’ve never gotten bad service there. They go above & beyond to make us happy!

    • Em

      Yes, they will

    • May

Yes, they told us if it’s going to be an easy fix they can do at the store but if they can’t fix easy then they will send yours to the ” animal hospital ” and fix it for you 🙂

    • Tilla Ham

yes they will fix them even if a normal non build a bear stuffed animal has a hole, they doctor it up:)

    • Kathryn M

My DD has 20 Build-A-Bears and they are great about fixing them. They will restuff them if needed, fix holes, fix sounds, anything you need. No charge and always great service.

      • Brooke

SO glad to hear this!! My brother is on the board of directors at Build-a-Bear and he’s/they’ve been working hard to make sure everyone has a positive experience.

Love Build-A-Bears. I received one for Valentine’s Day and I thought it was the perfect gift from my boyfriend. They should market to adults. 🙂

Mine came with seam issues. I contacted Build-A-Bear and had me send it to St. Louis. It came back perfect.

Also, the website says free shipping today and tomorrow (2/27 and 2/28). Yay!

        • Ma24

Me kids have a few bears each. Most have come undone and they fix them no problem. Lately I will ask for a double stitch when we first get them to try to avoid them opening! Build a bears are great quality! I wash and dry mine and they hold up well !!! 🙂

  2. Krystal D

The website has free shipping today with any purchase!

    • patty

Thanks for letting us know! But be careful, the free shipping showed up for me but then my card was charged! I emailed them and am hopeful they will fix it. They usually have excellent customer service!

      • Annette

I was having the same issue with the shipping not coming off, I read the details on the free shipping offer from the website and here is what it says: “Orders with a promotion code entered are not eligible and will be charged regular shipping charges.”

        • patty

I think it’s deceiving! I understand if they can’t be combined (I didn’t see that part) but on the place order page it showed a total to be charged to my credit card as 0.00. Then when I placed the order I was charged. If I had known before placing the order I would have not ordered.

I bought a voucher for $15 worth $30 a couple weeks ago that was posted here. I believe it is from zulily. Does anyone know if I can use both at the same time or if I need to do two separate trips? Thank you! I’ve never been but am looking forward to taking my 2 year old! 🙂

    • Carla

I was wondering the same thing!

  4. Autumn

Here’s the catch: most build a bears are $30and up!😕 would be a better deal if it were a $50 deal for $25… That’s how companies will get you.

    • Tilla Ham

I have never seen a build a bear that costs as much as 30 dollars. Most of them are around the 18 to 20 dollar range. A few are 25 dollars. If you buy all the clothes and stuff it can get expensive, but you don’t have to

      • jo

We just bought one a few weeks ago for my son that was 12 dollars. it was one of the smaller sizes like 14 inches but not tiny.

    • Kathryn Meyer

Just at Build a Bear yesterday and there were NO $30 bears. We bought an $18 one for my nephew to stuff when he comes to visit (had a free outfit coupon). We also just had a birthday party there in January and I had an animal limit of $20 and an outfit limit of $12.50 per child and they had TONS of choices!

Just an FYI you don’t have to stuff them when you buy them, you can have them “tagged” and bring them back to stuff later, making it a great way to give a Build-A-Bear as a gift.

  5. Yen

Anyone know if I can buy the animal unstuffed and then take the kids to get them stuffed later on when they’ve done something to earn it? I want to buy ahead cause there’s not always a q available when they “need” it, but I don’t want to deprive them of the stuffing experience at the store, lol.

    • Tilla Ham

yes, you absolutely can, we have done this to give a child a gift because we know they want to stuff it themselves

    • Kate

Yes! We have done this for birthday presents before. Give the friend an unstuffed animal and they can go back and have it filled and name it, etc.

  6. Jessica

My 2 year old will be so happy! We have been planning a trip since he gets so excited when the commercial comes on.

  7. Lindsay

Can you use this voucher on build a bear clothes as well? My son already has a bear, but wants more clothes to go along with it.

  8. tasa

I can’t get my code to work online? Can anybody else?

    • Clarissa

I can’t get mine to work online either.

  9. Carrie

Great timing! Thank you so much! My youngest daughter asked for a BaB for her birthday this month since her sister’s each purchased one last weekend at our annual Girl Scout Mall Madness event (we had to have the cool GS cookie bears, ya know…lol). 🙂

  10. Annette

I’m trying my code online and it says it isn’t valid. I have the right type of animal and the right price.

    • Heidi

Same thing is happening to me!!! 😔

      • g

same here…I was using code 2000156. Any ideas?

        • lori

          My code won’t work either?

          • Carol M

            I had the same problem — ?

  11. michelle735

    site is crashed 🙁

  12. Dmadhura@gmail.com

    The site isn’t working 🙁

  13. Florence

They didn’t let me use it in the store. 🙁 Bummer

  14. Lisa

    They wouldn’t take my voucher/coupon either! 🙁

  15. Stefanie
