Got the email this morning and bought myself a pair of flats for $20. And went through shopathome for 5% cash back.
Whenever I have only $5 and I am not in need of shoes I let them expire. I have heard people saying it can be used in store to buy socks for example. Anyone has tried this? How did it go?
I use it at store whenever I get a certificate it works all the time. And better to use it at store can find better clearance deals because of the additional 30, 50, 75, or 80% always find free socks or even wallets.
Rebe, I have bought socks before with my $5 or $10 rewards coupon when I don’t need shoes. DSW also has belts that are on clearance. They end up being just a little out of pocket or even free!

Rebe- I never let $5 or $10 certificate expire. You can buy so many things that are less than $5 and get it for free. For example- Shoe polish, shoelaces, nail paint, socks and many other clearance items.
I get socks every time if I don’t need shoes with the $10 certificates. If the socks are $9.95 (so less than the coupon), they still let me use it and charge me $.01.
I received that email and was amazed I could use it along with another $5 and $10 reward in my account to score $30 New Balance toddler shoes for $10 with free shipping!

The cheapest item I could find in a search of their website was the Teva Barracuda Girls Toddler & Youth Sandal only available in Toddler size 2 at $9.94 which is awesome if you have a little girl in that size (it is pink).

I got it and used it to buy my black Teva Mush flip flops that I live in during the summer. Seriously the most comfortable flip flops ever!
Yay!!! I was able to get really nice Roxy flip flops for $6.95 after this $5 and my birthday $5!!! Just as an FYI: usually these DSW codes are linked to your personal DSW Rewards account and cannot be transferred to others.
