Is this different from the rebate you posted last week?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, this one is new – valid 3/16-3/22 πŸ™‚

  2. Vicky

Have anyone actually received the rebate back? I see this deal allll the time but scare to not actually received the rebate

    • Claudia

I did this deal just once, and yes i did receive my rebate check!

    • Heidi

I’ve done these deals in the past and have gotten the rebate with no problems. Quick and easy to submit rebate online.

    • Jacki

These are the easiest rebates to do and I always get it back.

    • Jennifer

Yes, I did about 2-3 weeks ago and my rebate came really fast. I think I only waited maybe a week or a week and a half!

    • Wendy

      Hi Vicky
I have done this many time and NEVER had a problem
You can do this on line, it does take a few minutes to set it up the first time if you want Staples to store your info, address etc the next time it will be faster
There is a box to check if you would like a check rather than a prepaid card
It usually takes at least 6 weeks to receive a check,
Staples is super efficient with this service and have never had an issue
They also send you an email when they receive your request and another one when they mail the check, although I never seem to get the check for another week or so
      I hope this helps

    • Sharon

I have done a lot of these, and I have always received my rebates

  3. Brandi B.

Where do you get the rebate form?

    • Vanessa

The rebate form prints out with your receipt.

      • Brandi B.

        Thanks πŸ™‚

    • Keri

When you purchase the item the rebate info prints out along with your receipt. You can go online and submit your rebate…it’s super easy. Then they send your rebate to you in the mail.

      • Brandi B.

        Thank you!

  4. Erika

Can I use my staples rewards (I have about $30) and still able to receive the Easy Rebate check?

    • Suzyq

Yes you can I just used mine on the deal last week! By the way my store ran out of the 5 reams last week with the sale but they offered me the 10 ream in its place since i was buying 2 and just rung it up as 2 of the 5 reams so I could get the rebates. Just in case your store is out its worth it to ask!

      • Erika

        Thanks πŸ™‚

  5. Amy

Lori, I was wondering the same thing.. Collin is this a new rebate or the same one from last week?? Thank you!! πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

This is a new one (valid 3/16-3/22)

      • Stephanie

Can you please tell me if we get a rebate check or if this comes in the form of a gift card from Staples?

        • Wendy

          Hi Stephanie
Funny you should ask, as this morning I spent a long time on the phone with Staples
I was filling out the rebate form on line and could not find the box to click for a check and not for a Visa card as I have always done in the past
I finally spoke to a supervisor who said they are no longer sending out checks if the rebate is over $10.00 However she did say AFTER you get the Visa card if you call them
they will then send you a check if you would like, This seems like a lot of work for them, but she insisted this is what they will be doing from now on
The monthly maintenance fee of $3.00 will be waived for the first six months ( also says this on the rebate form and other info on how to use the card )
I hope this clarifies their new procedure

  6. Wren

Man, they are giving away a lot of free paper lately! woo hoo. We’ve been passing it out to family and are going to start donating to our church.

  7. Jaelindsey

What kind of rebate would you receive? A staples reward?

    • janette

on the 5 ream, they send you a visa card- it was pretty quick too- not more than 4 weeks I don’t think

      • Turquoice

Visa card? I’ve only received checks so far.

    • claire

Look for a drop down box… in past experience you can choose between a few options including check or Visa card. (Haven’t filled out my rebate for this one yet.)

  8. Craig

Anybody try to buy more then 1 Hammermill? It states 1 on q. but limit 4 on rebate. Anyone try to go back 3 separate occasions w/this q. then enter them what? all separately or all together? Wondering if each scenario would work. So far, I’ve just gotten 1 per this deal but always wondered if ya could do it 4xs w/q. ??

    • claire

The coupon only works once, but you could still get a rebate for another ream for pretty cheap (just not free).

      • carmen

I haven’t tried it personally, but I’m pretty positive you could go back on 3 more occasions and put all 4 in your name to get up to 4 free after rebate.
They’d be on separate receipts, so you’d enter them separately, but they can all be entered using the same address/account.

Does anyone know why the coupon limits are different from the household limits? Are they trying to encourage people to go to the store more often or to bring a friend?

  9. Debbie

I’m a teacher and our school is always running out of paper. Love these paper deals at Staples!

    • Melissa

I was going to mention this too. My husband is a teacher and usually has to supply his own for most of the school year.

  10. Annie

Teacher here too and I need paper. How many reams can I get? Is it two reams per person? I am not understanding the deal

    • Jennifer

Looks like it says 4 rebates per family for the 5 team case.

    • carmen

I’m not sure why they make the coupon limits different from the rebate limits, but you can only get two 5-ream packs and one Hammermill ream IN ONE TRANSACTION–if you want them for “free.”
You can get two more 5-ream packs and 3 more Hammermil reams for free, but you’d have to do three more transactions because of the coupon limits. I’m guessing you could just go in on a different day or get a friend or two to go with you (someone mentioned using their kids, but I don’t know if the cashier would for that).

So you can get a total of four 5-ream packs and four single-ream packs per household for “free” = 24 reams, and end up paying just the sales tax on $84 (you’d get $68 back on a Visa card and a $16 check in 4-6 weeks).

I just did my first one of these last month, so someone can correct me if I’m wrong :).

      • Kerryiu

I just got (2) 5-ream cases & (2) Hammermill single case all in (1) transaction & was able to get rebates for all 4 items πŸ™‚

  11. nedy

Hi everyone! I just bought @ Staples 8.5β€³x11β€³ Copy Paper 5-ream case (item #990176) this afternoon and when I tried submitting it for easy rebate it didn’t went through. The message says Offer already expired. Will return everything tom=(

    • carmen

nedy: did you get a rebate receipt AND rebate form when you bought it? If you did, then you may want to try again or call the number on the receipt.

  12. Wendy V.

Be sure to call ahead to your Staples store to make sure they have this in stock. I took my lunch hour on Thursday to go and purchase paper and they said they had been out since Tuesday.

  13. Joni

If I did the 4 rebates for last weeks paper deal can I also do 4 this week?

    • carmen

comment #1 up there suggests that YES! If you’re worried, check that the offer number is different.

  14. Bela1217

Help?! Which coupon do I use for $9.99 off 5 Ream of paper? My sons Teacher is asking for a donation of copy paper this would be great! Hope I still have a chance for the mail in rebate πŸ™‚

    • carmen

Look for the coupon that says “Free” and has a red package in the photo.

You may want to call ahead to ask if they’re still in stock, but you have until Saturday, I think.

      • Bela1217

        Got it THANKS Carmen!

  15. Halfpen

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Collin for telling me about this. I just ran out of paper last night and I didn’t know about such deals. I nearly missed out as today was the last day

One thing though, my coupon rang up as only $5 off and she had to fix it.

Can someone tell me how often there is a deal like this? Also how can I be sure not to miss out?

    Thanks!!

    • Mel

I paid $93 for four things of paper and just realized that the coupon did not make them free. πŸ™ I thought the total was really high but did not realize what was wrong. How much was the total supposed to be? I am worried that I won’t be able to fix this now because it is the day after. πŸ™
