Sand Dollar: A Story of Undying Love is a story about a love gained, a love lost, and through it all, a love that just won’t die. Although it’s considered to be a romantic fantasy — a kind of cross between The Notebook and The Sixth Sense — the book distinguishes itself from other romance novels in its genre by its honest portrayal of life as a recurring tragedy, a roller coaster ride of sorts between joy and heartache, and the faith needed to overcome it.

Return to Atlantis: A Novel $0.99 (reg. $9.99!) Through 3/20 Only!
American archaeologist Nina Wilde and her husband, ex-SAS bodyguard Eddie Chase, are back for another heart-stopping, globe-spanning adventure in the latest New York Times bestselling series that “raises the bar to please adventure junkies who prefer to mainline their action.”

Presidential Campaigns: From George Washington to George W. Bush $2.99 (reg. $19.99!)
– Today Only!

With a postscript analyzing the major changes in the ways Americans have chosen their Presidents from Washington’s time to the present, Presidential Campaigns gives the reader a full picture of this somewhat flawed procedure. For all of its shortcomings, though, this “great American shindig” is an essential part of the American democratic system and, for better or for worse, tells us much about ourselves.

Freckleface Strawberry $1.99 (reg. $6.99!) – Today Only!
If you have freckles, you can try these things: 1) Make them go away. Unless scrubbing doesn’t work. 2) Cover them up. Unless your mom yells at you for using a marker. 3) Disappear. Um, where’d you go? Oh, there you are. There’s one other thing you can do:4) LIVE WITH THEM! Because after all, the things that make you different also make you YOU.

Twelve Years a Slave $0.99 (reg. $4.39!)
12 Years a Slave is a riveting true account of a free man captured and sold into slavery in the pre–Civil War South. Solomon Northup’s narrative explores one of the darkest times in American history and captures in vivid detail the unimaginable realities of slavery.

Dunes Over Danvar $0.99 (reg. $5.74!)
Out in the wastes north of Springston the rush for riches and fame is on. The word is out that the legendary city of Danvar has been found, and every diver, brigand, and pirate with a sarfer is racing to find it.
