    How does this stuff taste

    • Cristina

They taste great I use a blender I add ice, banana, and strawberries 2 scoops of the protein powder I love it. In a busy day I make one of these and take it instead of a meal you know like when there’s no time to cook.

It’s really good. I make a smoothie sorta like above or mix with low fat milk and its just like chocolate milk. I even make super yummy energy bites with it! Good deal, thanks!

I hate the taste, very chemical…. I like the big bag of protein from Costco.

Agree, it has a weird taste, nothing at all like the protein powder my hubby uses. The vanilla tastes slightly better than the chocolate. The only way I can somewhat mask it and make it drinkable is to use 1 scoop vs 2, and add a half packet of carnation or kelloggs to go mix. I use almond milk in my smoothies so idk if that affects the way it tastes.

If you get the chocolate, make it with your two scoops, 1 tbsp. of the sugar free jello pudding cheesecake powder (before making with milk) and 1 tbsp. of instant coffee (or about 1/2 a Starbucks via packet) and it is truly AWESOME. I get the decaf, and my kids even beg me for it!!

You can also make the vanilla with 1 tbsp. of the sugar free vanilla pudding powder and the juice from a lemon (or perhaps 1-2 tbsp. instant lemon “stuff” – sorry, I don’t know the correct name because I’ve never used it for this) and it is also awesome for those who don’t like chocolate. Also- lemons are acidic for teeth, but alkalizing once they hit your stomach, so very healthy for your digestion :O)

        • Heather C.

My apologies….for the vanilla recipe, I meant to say make it with the LEMON sugar free jello pudding powder. I had vanilla on the brain ;o)

My husband makes smoothies everyday…anyone know where to get the big ‘smoothie’ straws for a good price? We have the ‘reusable’ ones, but they just don’t get clean enough ๐Ÿ™

YES! Thank you. I got a free sample of this before and really liked it. Was looking for a good deal to give it a try again.

They were also on sale at CVS for buy 1 get 1 free as well. I always look there because sometimes the magic machine will print out coupons that pair with store coupons to make these free. It isn’t printing it now, but when it does, we stock up because my boyfriend makes protein shakes everyday. He usually adds some extra chocolate nesquik powder to beef up the taste.

This week? I couldn’t find any at my Walgreens but will def try CVS if they are BOGO there as well.
