I did not like Mindfield…almost every survey would take me through numerous questions before saying that I did not qualify for the survey. I felt like they were taking me through most of the survey and saying I didn’t qualify just so they didn’t have to pay me, but they still got my info. Frustrating! I prefer VocalPoint surveys, which just does giftcard drawings, but at least even if you don’t qualify they still enter you into the drawings.

Mindfield is actually one of my favs, so I guess it depends. I don’t make a lot of money (maybe $30 this year) but I have product tested sunscreen, chapstick, crackers, etc.

Thank you for posting this Collin. I also wanted to add: I had joined the CVS consumer panel a while ago, I have received offers but apparently I never qualified. So a month or so ago I googled the company CVS uses in my region (New England) and visited their website directly and joined. They have already sent me 2 opportunities -I didnt qualify again- but at least I have increased my chances.

    • Rebe

And forgot to add, I do valued opinions and is not bad. At least they send me offers all the time, so if you have time to spare, you can use it making a couple of bucks here and there.

    • Crystal

I signed up for CVS consumer panel a very long time ago and have never gotten any surveys from them.

  3. Maria

Same thing happens with opinion outpost. U prefer toluna and e-rewards better

  4. Ashley

I haven’t qualified for a single inboxdollars survey yet, but they take me through almost the entire survey then say I don’t qualify. Sounds to me like they just don’t want to pay out.

I wanted to say that I use SurveyMini. It’s an app on my iphone that tracks my location and then presents a really short survey. I automatically get points to use towards a gift card, and in occasion a GREAT deal. I recently shopped at a Tractor Supply company, took the survey, and got a code to show the cashier saving me $5 off my purchase!

  6. J

Add Crowdtap and BzzAgent to the list! Those are my faves!

    • Sondra

I love crowdtap, it took me a few months but now I get some kind of reward every month it seems.

    • kim

      I *love* bzzagent!!!

      • marion

I love bzz agent, coupons and free samples, that’s a couponers dream

  7. lae

Add Schlesinger Associates to this list. I just did a survey with the company and they always pay with a Visa gift card. I did a survey for BJ’s and got a $125 gift card! My husband always does these too and he gets gift cards for over $200 for sometimes only a 1/2 hour of his time! 🙂 Gotta love that! 🙂

    • lae

the survey was about BJ’s not for BJ’s…. fyi!

      • MomOfTwo

Looool thank you for the clarification, this made my day, I’m still laughing lol

        • Laura E

You are welcome, I did not want to sway someone in the wrong direction! 🙂

      • MomOfTwo

Looooool this made me laugh Lae, Thank you for the clarification lol

I use surveysavvy and I love it. I’ve been using them for about 7 years. Each survey gets you about $1.00-$5.00 and you can get a check mailed to you after only earning a dollar. They send me surveys about once or twice a week. It’s not a lot of money, but the surveys are quick and easy and the process is smooth.

Hi do not forget myview!!! Love them….1 gift card a month for me and valued opinions!!!

  10. Betsy

I don’t know if some of you feel this way — but I started to stop taking some surveys (opted out from a few places) since it took what seemed like forever to get enough points for a gift card. This is how two companies that I used to do surveys worked. Maybe it was my demographic but I accrued points sooo slowly that it wasn’t worth all the computer time to get say a $10 gift card. If I figured out how much time I spent to get the money, I would go eeeek. I thought sticking with one company might be better for me. Plus I’m trying to spend less time on my laptop. Ah, still working on that.

I use Pinecone. They pay $3 per survey and most take me only 5 minutes – 10 tops. They also send out products to try and I’ve gotten some great things! I usually get 1 – 2 surveys per week and they tailor the surveys to you so you never have to click through a bunch of questions only to find out you don’t demographically qualify.

    • Sondra

I only get like 1 survey every 2 months, but they don’t generally send surveys you won’t qualify for so that is a plus!

      • Sara

Hmm – odd. I wonder why I get more. I’m a 25 yo married female w/o children. Wonder if it matters?

  12. Pharmchick

I use opinion outpost, mypoints surveys, swag buck surveys and e rewards… None of them are spectacularly better then the other, and tbh the worst feeling is wasting 20 min and getting to the end only to be disqualified… I want to cash out everywhere and just quit but I like to have the option to make a little somethjng if I want to..

  13. Kb

Swagbucks has many different survey opportunities. Because they come from different panels you don’t feel like your taking the same survey over and over. I make $100 from surveys alone each month. I check back with them regularly, and I have good demographics, so that might be part of it.

    • Sondra

wow! I only make 5 to 10 a month and thought that was good, but I qualify for almost no surveys ever.

  14. Kim

I do well with swagbucks, but not for surveys, I do searches and special offers. But, my all time favorite money making app is viggle, you earn points for gift cards for checking into TV shows and playing trivia and watching ads. I have gotten a couple hundred dollars in gift cards in about a year.

  15. mweylerMargaret

my two cents: Have been doing surveys for several years and earned several hundred dollars in various forms–often Amazon gift cards. I have stopped using those that take too long to earn or are wastes of time. My favorites are
Opinion Outpost (often dont qualify but the times I do, pay very well. probably made the most using them…if you are willing to spend 5 minutes not qualifying regularly.)
Pinecone REsearch only sends when I do qualify and I earn $3 each time. Works great for the occasional survey (2-3/month).
Like MyView a lot. Makes you feel good when you earn 100s-1000s of points each time you qualify. 🙂 I have redeemed several high value gift cards through them. You get 100 each time you dont qualify as well. And they disqualify quickly.
    MySurvey works pretty well.
Definitely ClearVoice. Always make .10 and find out if don’t qualify within seconds unlike others. The surveys you do complete can be a bit longer but pay decently and are far more interesting than most.
Epolls are often faster than many and you always qualify…just not as frequently offered.
Harris Poll rewards in high amounts when do qualify and can rack up points quickly. The surveys can be long however. I do not qualify as often as some others but they give points even for disqualification.
Have made a fair amount with Ipsos I-say, but they have been taking more and more time and paying out less and less so I have considered dropping.
Have used Mindfield but I qualify very infrequently now. Pay well when you do qualify.
Have had several blog posts regarding my survey stuff. Here is a link for more info.

I have an app on my phone called Nielsen Mobile and love it! I’ve had it since October 2012 and cashed out 2 months ago for 2 $10 Subway gift cards and 1 $25 CVS gift card. It can take a bit to add up points, but unlike other rewards companies, you simply just need the app installed. You don’t have to take any surveys. All you need to do is download the app and grant it certain permissions. In turn, you get points at the end or beginning of every month. It’s an easy way to get gift cards and other items. FYI, I could have cashed out much sooner, but I like to save my points until I really need them for something (like places I’ll frequent before/during vacation!).

I second BzzAgent. One of the earlier comments sings BzzAgent praises, and I have to agree. Participation is a much or as little as you want, but the more you participate, the more opportunity you have to Bzz about new products that you get to try out. I also love the fact that my MyPoints account is tied to BzzAgent and for the majority of activities performed on BzzAgent you are awarded MyPoints points as well. I’m currently in the Fiber One Meal Bars campaign. There are three flavors available, but my favorite is the Strawberry Greek Yogurt. It definitely feels like I’m eating something healthy, but at the same time I get my sweet on, which I can not do without. The meal bars are loaded with protein and fiber, and because they are a meal replacement, they completely fill me up until my next meal.

  18. Becky

Mypoints survey is the BEST and I have tried most of them. Mysurvey and homescan is a close second. Been doing surveys for over 4 years, so I have seen it all. Stay away from inbox dollars it is the WORST. I have tested tons of products for mysurvey and bzzagent.

  19. Alma

I want to make $$ with surveys! What are the best recommendations? Can I trust these sites with contact info (address & phone#)?

  20. Wendy

I have used mysurvey and BzzAgent for years and I like the online experience, however the mysurvey app is terrible. I was just wondering if there are any good survey apps for people on the go? Thanks!

I was so excited to finally be a part of NCP, I got my scanner 2 years ago. I am mailing it back today because the scanner is not working. I am spending time to record my shopping transactions and its not processing. I have put in tons of e-mails, call, etc and they keep telling me the scanner is fine. If you aren’t willing to scan your groceries weekly and really work, NCP is not for you. Just my 2 cents on them.

I love swagbucks, even just doing the 4pt activities you can rack up a lot of points, right now I have met my daily goals (which are usually around 100pt/day) for 14 days which means they are going to add an additional 100SB to my total at the end of the month.

Pinecone is awesome if you are younger, as you get older I’ve noticed you get less surveys (been with them for over 10 years). I will say I love that I have a debt card that my money gets paid out to, before I would lose money because I would forget to cash the checks in the allotted time.

Crowdtap is good if you are willing to get drawings for gift cards. I don’t mind and this year I have earned about $50.00 in Amazon.com gift cards. The more entries you have the better your chance of winning. I also like that each company you interact with is a different drawing.

If you are willing to put in some time you can make money doing surveys, I am saving money for Christmas since I lost my job last month, this way we will have money but it won’t be coming out of paychecks.

  22. Rachael

Can someone recommend the best mobile friendly sites??

  23. sheena

I am a member of bzzagent.com and recently received free sunscreen and coupons to hand out. Its the Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen. You apply it and it absorbs in seconds so you can get on with your day. You can wear it under your makeup and wont clog pores. Its amazing stuff, I love it. If your not a member of bzzagent.com I recommend checking it out, and check out the Coppertone Clearly Sheer sunscreen as well.
