Walgreens: Score Everything Pictured for Just $5 + Tax (Get stocked up on Candy & Goodies for Easter!)…
So I hit up Walgreens real quick today, as I was out running errands anyway and wanted to take advantage of a couple of the candy deals (getting prepared for a huge Easter Egg hunt!). Here’s a rundown of the deals I scored:

The cosmetics cashier at my local Walgreens doesn’t mind at all if I do multiple transactions. I agree, there is one cosmetics cashier at my Walgreens that is super friendly and great with coupons. If she’s working, that’s where I checkout.

The cashier at my store in the cosmetics is really nice too, did the 1st transaction with the vaprino. The second got 6 bottles of bubbles, 2 bags so lifesaver eggs, and a bag of cashews with nuts. And I had a $2rr. Good trip.

You guys are lucky. I get attitude and eye rolls from my cosmetics cashier so I purposely avoid her if I can.
I always try to do that just because I feel bad if a line forms behind me at the one front checkout

Nice deals! I never go to the local walgreens but decided to try it out today. I messed up my first transaction (my RR didn’t print and they had to void it – think I needed a filler?) but hopefully next time will go more smoothly. There were a ton of people behind me and I was super self-conscious 😳. In my defense though…with the register rewards, balance rewards, happy cash, etc…they make it pretty darn complicated!

Both of mine are nice too and i always do the surveys on the bottom of receipt. I always give them 5s and always mention their names. They know i do this and they to always want to help me. Did this for my rite aid store because they treat me right. I emailed corporate and let them know what Wonderful store and employees they have at the store i shop. Corporate emailed the store and congradulated them and forewarded the email. They know i did it because my name was on the email and thanked me very mich for doing that. I think kuddos are deserved and we should do this when we are treated right not always sending bad reviews to corporate.

Yes! I’ve done that with my cosmetic cashier. We’ll she probably doesn’t know it was me but as I work in retail I know it’s always nice and rare when the happy people leave comments
I have two walgreens near me and both have GREAT cashiers. The girls who work in cosmetics are even better, they are so patient & helpful… and friendly too! I need to do the surveys and get their names next time I am in there. Thanks for the tip!! They deserve some kudos…
Those bags of Milky Way bites are dangerous to have around….last bag didn’t last much more than the afternoon between my husband and myself :/

My cashiers at walgreens that i talked about earlier told me they have a board in the back room that shows how many surveys they have on them. They told me they only get one or two good ones a month. That to me is not enough for doing a good job keeping your customers happy. Everyone seems to only want to do bad surveys. If you have a cashier you like or a store that treats you right do a good survey or email corporate and let them know that cashier or store is doing a good job and makes shopping there a pleasure.
I am actually the Senior Beauty Advisor at my Walgreens (in charge of the cosmetics department). I wanted to say thank you so much Colin for telling people to cash out in cosmetics! As Beauty Advisors we are supposed to do a lot more interacting with our customers than a regular cashier. I’m thrilled when I hear everyone having a good experience at Walgreens, especially in the Cosmetics Department. The surveys are a huge help for us, so if anyone has the time please do them. It’s so much easier online than the call in option. The Cosmetics counter should also have samples and coupons available so it’s like trick or treating for grown ups!

I did a similar deal. T1- vaprino. T2- 2 bags of bites, case of water, and bubbles. Pretty good deal 🙂 my store didn’t have tags on the vaprino and there were still some available! Couldnt belive it, usually everythings gone. And i must say my transactions have been pain free at walgreens the last few times i went. And got lots of kicks (shopkick) too :))
Does an in ad coupon count towards your coupon total when also redeeming a Register Reward in the same transaction? For instance: can I use a 1.00 RR and an in ad 3 for $1 bubbles together without a filler item?

Meijer also has the Mars bites 2/$5 this week so only $1 each after coupon.
My regular store does have the Valprino, going to try another location tonight might just get the jelly beans and chocolate anyway as it is still good deal.
Everytime I go to my local Walgreens everything that is listed on hip2save is conveniently sold out. I am convinced Walgreens is removing sale items,during the sale week, because the items are in full stock very day a new sale starts. I have actually been in Walgreens at midnight and they are stocking the shelves. I will ask them for something on sale that week. They always say let me check in the back. Of course they come back and say not in stick. Then I ask for something from the last sale, and of course a shelf full. I don’t shop WalMart but the times I have I have the same experience.
