Home Depot & Lowe’s Kid’s Workshops: Register NOW to Make Free Flower Planter in May + More
If you have a Home Depot nearby, you can now sign up for the FREE Kids Workshop on May 3rd where kids can build a Flower Planter just in time for Mother’s Day. These workshops are designed for ages 5-12 and are offered the 1st Saturday at all The Home Depot stores between 9AM-12PM. Also keep in mind that registration is still open for the Free Birdbath/Birdfeeder Workshop on April 5th.
And don’t forget to register for the upcoming Lowe’s Kids Clinic as well! On Saturday, April 12th, at 10AM, head on into Lowe’s where kids can build a FREE Recycling Truck! Be sure to register your kiddos now as spots tend to fill up quickly! If you’ve never attended one of these free Kid’s Clinics, check out my previous experience here.
(Thanks, Freebie Finding Mom!)
Does anyone know if you can put things in the recycling truck?
omg….it says every single store within a 50 mile radius is already full. 🙁 Saw the ad for this in store yesterday and my daughter really wanted to do it. Is it a glitch that they all show sold out?
Registry started a few weeks ago, so it’s probably accurate.. You could still go to the event, line up early, and as soon as 10:15 hits, they start giving away kits that have not been collected by those that registered. You could also “stalk” the lists and see if spots open up once people find out they have other plans and cancel their request.
Mine says they are all full too.
Home Depot wasn’t full but Lowes was almost full. Sometimes if you just show up they will still let you do it. My Lowes usually has leftovers from other weeks for people who aren’t registered. When I go when it says it is full I just warn my kids before that we might not get to do it. Most of the time they have something for the kids to do.
Ours is frequently sold out, but they say if the registered attendees don’t show up after 15 min it’s first come first serve! 🙂
