Download the PayPal App = FREE $12 Credit Towards a Food Order from a Local Restaurant (Thru 3/30)
Wanna snag lunch or dinner on the cheap? If you have a PayPal account and a smartphone, you can do just that with the PayPal app. If you haven’t already, first head over here to download the PayPal app in iTunes or head over here to download the PayPal app in Google Play. Then, through March 30th, follow the steps below and you should be able to score a FREE $10 credit to spend on a food order from a participating restaurant in your area. Even sweeter, when you use the code hottie at checkout, you’ll save an additional $2 for a total savings of $12!
Here’s what you’ll need to do…
* First, download the PayPal app – iTunes or Google Play.
* Open the PayPal app to see a list of merchants in your area.
* Locate the restaurant you want to order from and look for the Green Scissor Icon (found in the top left corner next to the restaurant) which indicates that an offer is available.
* Tap the restaurant and slide the order button over to order.
* Next, you should see the Free $10 offer pop up and can save the offer to your account.
* You will need to upload a photo of yourself. Merchants will use this to identify you.
* Add the food items that you wish to order to your cart
* Choose the desired date and time for your order, including pick-up or delivery.
* Pay with Paypal and $10 will be credited back to your account
* Plus, use the code hottie at checkout to save an additional $2!
**Note, a majority of the restaurants in my area only offered delivery with a minimum order or $5.99+ delivery charge and/or service fee. But, if you are able to find a restaurant in your area that allows you to pick up your order, you could possibly score a FREE meal! Sweet! 🙂

Perfect just found a pizza place that delivers and I needed dinner since I’ve been feeling bad all day. Downloaded the ap and got pizza for dinner tonight for my family and Stromboli for my hubby for lunch tomorrow. Now if only my 7 year old would have ridden the bus home and I wouldn’t have to get out of bed.

We were planning to order delivery from a local Indian place tomorrow for lunch anyhow–despite the min. delivery. They are on the list. Yay!

Is there a way to un do the locator? We live rurally but see going to be in a metro area this weekend. Of course nothing near me is included but I’d like to see what is included in the city.
I made the order but it doesn’t look like it took the $10 off my order?? It took the $2 coupon off….but I don’t see the $10 credited back to my account. I followed the instructions listed?
I don’t think a free meal is worth Pay Pal having full access to my phone once I download the app.

I already had paypal and the offer was available to me. My only local Resturant that uses PayPal is Baja Fresh so after work I will be heading there to order a Baja chicken em salad! Whoo hoo!

If you want to know which restaurants in your area participate, offer free delivery, pickup, or no minimum, you can go to to eat24.com on your computer (doing it on my phone took me to their app). That way you can see if it is worth it before you download the Paypal app.

I don’t think you can use it with the same paypal account. When I open the app and select any store, it tells me I have $1.43 that I can apply towards the store (I used $8.57 last night).
No restaurants in my area either.
Through March 31st you can also save and extra $6 when you use google wallet on eat24!
My paypal app has a $9 credit to hey cupcake. If you live in austin, you might have it too! My birthday is next week, I’m going to treat myself for sure. 😄 I also noticed there is a $10 credit to some other places like opal divines, again local to austin, hope you guys have something similar!

All the restaurants only have delivery, they don’t have pick-up option. Is that the case with everyone?
No the pizza place I used let me pick it up. I used the website someone higher up posted and typed in my zip code and that I wanted a pick up place and it listed 2 places that allowed delivery a pizza place and a Chinese place. From the paypal ap it looked like everything was delivery but once you order it has a button to push for pick up instead of delivery. I used the website cause otherwise you’d have to go to each place and see if it allowed pick up its much quicker using the site!!

It didn’t take the $10 off for me they credited my paypal the $10. It took about 45 minutes to show up.

I noticed a huge differential b/t the Eat 24 hours site and the restaurants in my area on the PayPal app, so you might not want to use that as a test.
There was only one place near me that allowed pickup. It was a pizza place. I scored a free sub and fries!
