  Me too! Why do I get so excited, it’s just $1 savings 😉 We rarely rent movies from Redbox without a code though, not sure why!

  Snow? It’s currently in the 70’s here. We are supposed to reach the mid 80’s tomorrow. I keep forgetting that everywhere in the US is not experiencing spring-time weather.

    thanks…..I did get what is considered free…..:( had to pay tax of $.32…..but YAY for me, a movie I’ve been remiss in seeing at the theatre when it was out!!

  Are you sure you didn’t accidentally rent a blue-ray copy? You would have had to pay the difference (usually .32) if you did. The code “should” have given you the movie for free.

    Thanks, Collin– When codes come abundantly like this week, it enables us to take a shot on a movie we’re unsure of, for instance one that has good actors but didn’t get a good rating…then we don’t feel regretful if we end up deciding not to watch the whole thing.

    (Code worked fine at Walgreens.)

  Yes, in case you don’t return on time (and thus get charged for another day) or ddn’t return at all. They only charge you in those instances. After you enter the promo code it should show a zero balance. Hope this helps 🙂

    I rented “Gravity”. I’ve, kinda, been wanting to see it. Still no “Thor: The Dark World”. I wanted to get that, with the free code a few days ago. But, the only kiosk to have it in was a Dollar General 2 or 3 cities away. I would have thought “Gravity” to be a more hard to find movie, given all the buzz around it.

    I’m curious how do people find out about these codes for free Redbox DVDs? I’m signed up to receive both Redbox emails and Text messages, but don’t see these codes EXCEPT when they are posted on Hip2Save.com. YAY for Hip2save! But I do wonder how people find out about these codes.
