I bought ammonia lemon scent from target yesterday. I’m not quite sure what it was? Is it the same as bleach? Thanks
No it is not bleach. Never mix ammonia with bleach, it gives off deadly fumes. It’s a good cleaner though, just don’t mix it!
I use it to clean my oven and the racks. (I have an electric range, I don’t know if that matters). I put one rack in the center of my oven and the other rack on the lowest position. On the center rack I put ammonia in a small baking dish (8×8) and then on the bottom rack I put a large baking dish (13×9) and fill it with boiling water. Shut the oven door and leave it alone overnight. In the morning I take a sponge, dip it in the ammonia, and just wipe everything down. Zero scrubbing, it just takes any built-up grease or spills and wipes right off with no scrubbing! By the time morning comes around I don’t notice any fumes, but after wiping it out I usually leave the oven door ajar and turn on the hood for a little bit just in case. Easy peasy.
You can clean just the racks or grill grates by throwing them in a black trash bag, pouring in some ammonia, tying up the bag, and leaving it out in the sun for the day. In the evening wipe clean.
This is what I do too for my gas range! Works like a charm!

That seems crazy Alex! What else is bleach used for? I wonder why that happens.
Actually you use a few drops of bleach in water after a storm to make it safe for use/consumption. Not that it sounds appealing nor is a normal everyday use but that’s no excuse to put it in the detergent/laundry or other non-household cleaning category. It’s not on the side of the aisle with household cleaners. Perhaps they consider it laundry?

its probably because target doesn’t want customers going out with free items..notice that the fruit/vegetable coupon threshold has increased from $1 to $5? They are probably noticing their coupons are not exactly bringing in more profit.
I’m sure that their coupons are bringing in more profit. I mean, I went to Target on Saturday and saw the flyer on Sunday. I realized this would be free. I’ll go in to get this and probably $99 worth of other stuff that I didn’t realize I needed until I walked in the front door. Happens, every single time I walk through those target doors!
Beeped the last time I tried using it on bleach, so I used it on $1.04 scrubbing sponges this time.

Can you use the coupon with the 10% off cartwheel? Is that possible to have a negative balance at target?
No. If you use the $1 off coupon, the Cartwheel discount will not apply because the item has no cost.
I know that coupons beep but they always ask me if I got the item. I tell them yes and they hit another key. Voila. Coupon used!
