    What a great deal 3/31-3/5/14!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

LOL! Unintentional error with the dates but I am just gonna go with it since it is April Fools. In any case, the correct dates are 3/30/14-4/5/14. 🙂

      • Adrianne

either way it was cool! Thank you for all that you do! You are appreciated!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

          You are so welcome! 🙂

  2. Spacecasegirl

Awesome video Collin! I always dread Walmart even though we have one close. But i do need to go and score the battery deal again.

    • Ej

I did the battery deal over the weekend. Bought 8- 8 count packages. I had $1/1 coupons. Paid $42.24 before taxes. Will submit rebate for 4-$10 gift cards. It was great timing since we used our last batteries last week. Thanks Colin for all your great tips.

  3. Connie

I want your scarf. Super cute.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awe… thanks! 🙂

  4. Angela

Collin, you do the impossible…make Walmart look fun! I can’t believe you did not have any problems with the printable coupons. Usually about 50% of mine don’t scan there so they won’t take them. Does Walmart meaning annoying in another language?!?!

    • steph

I have the same issues with using coupons at Walmart but actually yesterday was not bad for once. All my print at home coupons scanned without issue but an angel soft boxed tissue coupon from the newspaper wouldn’t scan. Go figure!

      • Beverly

My Walmart just stopped taking internet coupons that don’t scan too. What a drag! You can’t possibly know which coupons they won’t take in advance. It’s no longer worth it to print coupons for Walmart, since it costs money to print them and then they won’t take them.

    • Mimi

Sometimes the cashiers scan the wrong barcode on the internet coupons as there are usually 2: a short one on top of a long one. Ask the cashier to scan both to see if that works.

  5. Brindha

Loved ur looking for a Jedi cashier…. So funny!

    • Erin

They don’t exist at my Walmart! Halfway through the video, I was thinking Collin’s going to have to pull some Jedi mind tricks to make that order painless. Too many coupons, too many beeps, and price matching, too? I’d do it if I had to, but I can get better deals elsewhere.

  6. steph

Coke 12 packs are on sale at Walmart until 4/10 for $3 each. Shelf was marked $4.68 regular price but they had a banner in the aisle for March madness basketball. So for everyone who printed those coupons you can use them there with no issues. I bought 4-12 packs yesterday and used 2 of the coupons with no beeps.

  7. Kathleen Smith

    Loved the video!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks! 🙂

  8. Cindy

You are so darned cute!! I look forward to this video every week!!! You rock the coupon blog!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks, Cindy! 🙂 I sure appreciate your comment.

  9. Lizzy

    U r amazing☺️

  10. lance

Soo love your energy and jovial disposition! :)) i always enjoy browsing thru your website and watching you hip videos! Kudos!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awe… so happy to hear that! 🙂

  11. cathy

Colin, in addition to giving us the best deals, you are the cutest! I love how you always seem to have fun (even shopping at Walmart)…love the scarf….i remember recently you posted video on tying scarves…would love to see that again!

  12. Patti

Really enjoy your weekly videos on shopping trips. Always learn something. Nice job Colin!
I recognize the cashier at the Walmart you were at!! How funny. Small world sometimes.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

It sure is a small world! 🙂

  13. Beverly

Walmart is my nearest supermarket, so I often shop there. They seem to be cracking down on us couponners though. They won’t accept internet printed coupons that don’t scan (no telling in advance which ones will scan and which ones won’t) and now I was asked to see the circular for a price match. The cashier had a stockpile of competitor’s circulars, but luckily I had mine with me.

  14. Alex

Great video I like how fun you made it look, did you have any issues with the printed coupons?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I didn’t this time, but I have before on previous trips and they sometimes have to get the manager involved. Fun! Fun! 😉

      • Alex

That’s why I like you because you are honest and sweet

  15. Cassy

I almost wish you had shown her scanning the coupons my walmart is so strict like others have said so finicky about printables (I had one that looked like a printable but wasn’t and made a manager come over because I know it could be used) mine will also only allow one like coupon per transaction so could have only used one of the bic coupons and they are even cracking down on multiple transactions so I would have to leave the store and come back in. Such a waste a time it has to be something really good to make me go there.

  16. Jayna

I can say the .88 pregnancy test work great found out I was pregnant with me last baby by using one.

  17. Queenjen87

Bleh, I HATE going in wal-fart, but I have walked in for some good overage deals. Usually they have to pay me about $5-10 to make it worth my time. Price match has been easier lately. All my cvs stores were cleaned out of Reece’s eggs, so I had to go PM for 90 eggs. Lucky for me they all scanned easy for .04 cent eggs 🙂

  18. Sally

Hip2Save is AWESOME! I love Hip2Save! Hip2Save is the best

  19. Sally

Collin!!! You have me rolling over here!!!

  20. Lisa

I am just curious if any of the coupons beeped? I would like to do that ragu deal…love that stuff…and that would be an awesome price to snag it. Thanks for the video.

  21. lindsey

Does anyone know if Walmarts in the Boise area carry the Blue Rhino propane tanks? The Walmart near me only carries Ameri-gas. it was featured in my Walmart ad this week for the gift card deal. So I’m trying to figure out if other walmarts in the treasure valley carry blue rhino.thanks.

  22. Analee

    You rock Collin!

  23. Jacki

You have inspired me to try Walmart again! Love your videos!!!

  24. Jem

I so love your scarf!!! I’m goin’ on a hunt to find one! Lol!

  25. Linda

Thanks to you, I did my first price match at Walmart. It worked!

  26. Ej

My Zest coupon says $1 off bar soap 3-bar. Bummer.

  27. scjeweler@gmail.com

I would love to see a video of you doing a normal grocery run with coupons. Just want to see how you do with some things that don’t have a coupon or do you only do themes trips with store sales and coupons? Love watching your videos, just want to see a normal grocery run and a tour of how you decorated each room in your house! You should have y I urge own show 🙂

  28. allfor2cuties

I forgot to ask how often do the coupons on coupons.com change. I didn’t know if you have to look everyday or if its 1x week?

    • sarah

once a month so if theres 1 coupon that you print in march and its still there in april you can print it again on the same computer.

  29. Janet

I went to walmart to buy the charcoal and it was almost $14 for both bags. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed :/

  30. Jr

I absolutely love when you go out in the field and shop!!! Please keep the videos coming! You are so funny! 🙂

  31. Kim

Thanks for all the great deal posts and videos. I wait each day patiently for a new video. Sadly I know they come just once a week. So bummed that I can never use any printable yogurt coupons here in the state of New Jersey so I always miss out on awesome deals.

  32. QODeals

This must be a regional deal, b/c I just went to Walmart and the bags scanned for 13.88 🙁

  33. sarah
