    Here’s a great scenario:

    1 Starbucks iced coffee $1
    Pay $1, get $1 RR

    1 Starbucks iced coffee $1
    Pay $1, get $1 RR

    1 Starbucks iced coffee $1
    Pay $1, get $1 RR

    Transaction #4
    2 Rolaids tabs 2/$8
3 cheap fillers (think easter basket fillers)
    = $8 plus filler cost
    – bogo rolaids (-$4)
    – (3) $1/1 RRs from previous transactions
= $1 plus cost of fillers

Get 3,000 points for buying two rolaids

    Transaction #5

    1 Scott paper towels $4.99
1 filler (to get over $3)
    = $4.99 plus filler
    – $1/1 wags store coupon
    – $1/1 Scott MQ
    – $3 (3000)points from previous
    = $0 plus filler cost

So $4 OOP plus cost of fillers and you get:

    3 Iced coffee
    2 Rolaids 150ct
    1 Scott paper towels 6-pack
    And some filler items

You have to redeem balance rewards in 5000 increments

      • katee

No you don’t. The system changed months ago

      • Nik

Not anymore. As katee mentioned, it changed. You can now do $1, $2, and $3 increments if you want to.

      • Ashlynn

Right but the points rake 2-3days before you can redeem them. So you mould have to come back for those paper towels

        • Nik

I am not sure what Walgreens you shop at, but I earn the points immediately.

          • Ashlynn

Wow here in nc the cashier never let you they always say you have to wait at least 2 days!? This is werid I am gonna check with a manager on my next trip. Flad I read these comments

        • mel

you can turn around and use points on the next transaction, there is no waiting period.

Do you have to do each coffee in a separate transaction (it won’t print three RR’s if you buy them at once?)? I don’t see my busy local store being willing to accommodate 5 transactions (they do a lot of photo business and extra people are usually there and not cosmetics). Fairly new to walgreens shopping and I’m so confused!

      • Nik

Items with RRs have to be done one at a time and separately. My store allows it as long as I let others go and of course not buy too many of an item. I also check out at cosmetics.

So sad :'( , my printer doesn’t work..

  3. M.

How do I get n use the April booklet?

    • Rosa

In the store. Up in the front or cosmetics department.

  4. Adrienne

I’m able to use my points immediately. As mentioned, u can redeem in dollar increments up to $5. When I tried to do $7 once, system would only do $5 in points. Ended up changing my transactions and using smaller increment of points.

  5. Michele

Coupon wouldn’t print for me. Now it says I’ve already printed. Boo.

  6. Alison

Great deal but I like the quality of the Viva paper towels much more. These seem to fall apart.

  7. SarBear

This coupon wouldn’t print for me. Then it said it already printed.

  8. jennifer

These aren’t the greatest quality but they are perfect for the little spills we have everyday around the house so I usually get this deal when it comes around.

    • Alison

That’s a great idea–I’ve never thought of that. I’ll have to start using the lower quality for small spills.
