I wonder why the giveaway is posted 5 minutes before happening. If it was mentioned like an hour before starting people who check the site periodically will not keep missing it like I do always. I am not looking for responses like “sometimes you get some, sometimes you lose some”. I am more interested in the reason Dr OZ’s giveaways are always posted in the last minutes. Is it because readers are encouraged to have signed up for deal alerts? Not every reader has free messaging. I don’t know why this particular deal which could be for everyone ends up being only for those who check the site every 5 minutes or have deal alerts. My intention is not to blame anyone I just wonder if I am the only one who feels this way.
It wasn’t posted early. I was on the site at 2:59pm EST and it hadn’t yet been posted. I had to do a hard refresh (CTRL + F5) right at 3 to get it to come up.
That’s why I follow about 5 different free sample sites because you can’t only rely on one. There are sites that post about giveaways like that a day or an hour before.
I saw it on the Dr. Oz show Yesterday. Collin lists things as soon as she can. There are other sites that had it mentioned too… and even if you knew in advance, still no guarantees… Only said Thanks for entering… No one really knows if they got one, I’m guessing.
also the dr oz show announces it in the morning. and jane her whole point is it wasn’t advertised early…she wanted to know abuot it earlier:)
You could check doctoroz.com most times the giveaways are announced there the day before.
