I bought the sixteen piece Anchor Hocking glass storage set last year. The lids for the larger pieces have ripped along the edge after minimal use.

Email customer service with your issues. They’ve always replaced anything I’ve had issues with. I have the three glass bowl set with lids and the lids are terrible-tearing after one use.

Before biting here, check out Big Lots and Kroger. Big Lots always has a good selection of basic pieces and Kroger has been clearancing out Good Cooks stuff. And yes, the Anchor Hocking glass storage with plastic lids aren’t great. You must be very careful about removing the lids without bending them. Anchor Hocking will replace the lids free as part of their guarantee, but it’s not really worth it to ship a plastic lid for $2. I can recommend the Montana Jars, though. They look like Pottery Barn for less and the quality is good.

I got myself a new set of silverware, cookies trays, canisters for flour sugar etc and souffle dishes all for around $65 bucks! Thank you for posting!

I got a set of 4 clamp-lid glass canisters and a 9×13″ glass baking dish with lid for $25. I was a little disappointed for being charged $2.99 for “shipping & handling” as well as another $5 for “handling”. Beware of this – it didn’t show up in my cart until the very last step!
