Does anyone know if the photo book has to be made online and then picked up in store or do we have to go to the store to create the book?

    • Melissa

I would assume it could be made online.

      • mel

You have to go to the store. Now idk if you could make the book ahead and save it to your account then log in at the kiosk for printing or you have to make the whole thing in store.

Is there a limit? I’d love to take care of gifts for parents and in laws for mothers and Father’s Day!

    • mel

Ad says limit 1. But cvs is known to increase limits, so we won’t know until someone reports back once they do the deal if the offer limit has been reached or not.

This is going to be a nightmare for CVS employees! I think most stores will have their photo machines “down” next week lol

To clarify, is this for an actual physical photo album book (with blank sleeves), or is it for a set of bound photo prints??

I’m not a CVS Photo Expert, so I only speak from my past experiences with making one of their photo books….I made mine in the store at the photo kiosk. You upload your photos, pick a “theme” (such as vacation, baby, etc) then arrange your photos into a “photo collage” (up to about 8 pages). You can also add text. It’s a bound book with photo-collage-like photo paper pictures. They are adorable! Can’t wait to make another one!

Rebecca, thanks for your help!! Now I know what to expect!! I appreciate it.

    • Sue

I believe this is an actual physical photo album with blank sleeves.

Ifthis can be made online that would be a lot easier! If you find out I would love to know!

ok so far here is what i have figured out. if you go to the cvs page and go to photo you can create a cvs photo account (its sep from your ECB account) and then create the book online and choose the store to pick it up in. problem is you pay for it online then pick it up, so i am wondering if there will be an online promo code we can use at checkout or if we can just buy it and when we pick it up “return” it instore and repurchase in store to get the ECB….. does that make sense?

I made the book online, picked it up in store and paid for it in the store because it didn’t prompt me to pay for it online when I ordered the book. Unfortunately, I did NOT get my 4.99 extra care bucks and when I asked the cashier said “its instore only” which I didnt’ understand because I tried to make their job easier by ordering online instead of taking up time at the kiosk when other’s are waiting, and I picked it up IN THEIR STORE anyways and PAID for it in their store anyways. There was no manager around but I’ll try to get my extra bucks back but just wanted to share that it didn’t work for me.

I would also like to know how to do this !

I believe it is a photo album book with blank sleeves.

Its a photo book you create, like you would make on Shutterfly. Except you make it in-store at the photo kiosk.

    • anna marie

You can keep believing that!!! Photo book and photo album are different. Photo book are made with your pictures onto the pages and photo album you insert your pictures into the selves.

Made my photobook today. It was pages with pictures printed on it then the cashier staples the pages together and inserts it into hard covering. Not as nice as shutterfly nor walgreens. Some of my pictures came out a looking weird and completely different from when I made a photobook with the same pictures online from Walgreens.
Another thing my cashier and assistant manager didn’t know how to ring the photobook book up (ended up doing it as a general tax item ) and then had to force print the ecb.
