And, if you’re going to be at Target anyway, you may want to keep your eyes peeled for these clearance deals sent in from readers, Jen, Nichole, and Shannon…

I just got back from target and stumbled on some great clearance items. They had 6 packs of juicy juice for $1.18 which there is a $1/2 Target coupon for. They also had 6 packs of the Reese’s big cups for $0.78 and bags of Russell Stovers sugar free chocolate for $0.98. Also for the Pedigree dog food deal all the bags were 10% more bonus 40lb bags so its like you’re getting two small bags for free. Also, I pretty sure it wasn’t on clearance, but a glitch in their system that the my little pony pinkie pie helicopter sets were ringing up for only $1.00.

I scored seventh generation laundry detergent. They were on clearance for half off at Target marked $6.48. While shopping I found the new bottles had $1/1 detergent coupon on them. Making each bottle $5.48 – regularly $12.99. I thought it was a great deal for this product.

So I snagged this great Storage Ottoman from Target today. It is normally $99.99 and there is an unadvertised store deal that makes it $79.99. PLUS there is a 15% off Threshold Ottomans Target Cartwheel AND if you have a Target Debit/Credit card, which I do, you get another 5% off. I paid just $64.99! I had been holding out over a month deciding whether or not to buy it and I picked the perfect day to make my decision![/h2s_box]

And, if you haven’t yet, make sure to watch my Target shopping video, from earlier this week…

    Thanks!!! 🙂

    • Tilly

Question: Is there a way to print out mobile coupons? Ive never used them before and before I try, I’d like to know if they’re printable. I have a store in the area who accepts competitor coupons for “$/off the total” coupons. Thanks!!

      • Tilly

Nevermind! I see lower in the comments that it may be in this weekends newspaper in the target flyer. I’ll just use that.

        • Jenniwaves82

When I was searching on google for “food stamp magic” I found ur site, so thanks for the free coupons!!!!!! very cool!!! 😛

ya’ll need2 google ‘food stamp magic’ b/c they are saying you can use your snap food stamps to get more from the free program than just food, and people are doing it legally. I guess under Obama they have changed some of the rules or something b/c I know of people on food stamps that have gotten free bank and financial cards just because they were low income and on snap! w.t. heck?!?!? not fair!

My cousin gets other freebies because he is on snap too, but my case worker never told me any of these things so I have missed out on free things for MONTHS!!!

  2. birdcagebakeshop

Oh boy! I love using these coupons to stock up on items that I rarely see coupons for, such as specialty baking ingredients and some pantry staples!

  3. Doaa

Does the total have to be $50 before or after target coupons?

    • eyez

total has to be exactly $50 before target coupons

      • Kelly

        Not over 50?

        • mel

It can be over $50, the coupon won’t work if it’s under $50.

          • mel

to add – you will want to give the $10 off coupon FIRST, before any other Target Store coupons.

            • Ketryna

I accidentally scanned this mobile coupon after other coupons and it still went through.

  4. Cassandane

Will this coupon be in the ad Sunday?

    • Jane

Yes it will be in Sundays ad

  5. Doaa

Are household items like cleaning detergents inuded?

    • Ashley57

No, it is only items in the grocery aisle of the store (food)

    • Anne

The coupon says $10 off of $50 Food and beverage

    • Molly

Coupon is $10 off food and/or beverage purchase of $50 or more (excludes alcohol, baby food, nutrition shakes and bars, pet food, Target Cafe and Starbucks Cafe)

      • Priscilla

So are we sure we can use other Target coupons with this? Isn’t it like any other Target mobile coupon where you can’t combine them with a regular Target coupon? Or because it’s off a certain dollar amount, are the rules different? I would also like the answer to whether it’s before or after target coupons and mfr coupons too.

        • Ashley57

Since it is a storewide coupon, it is different than the coupons for individual items. One storewide coupon can be used with other MQ and TQ. I have done it in the past.

  6. Doaa

    Are household items included?

  7. Pat

    Thanks Collin. You totally Rock!

  8. Doaa

Are household items like detergents included?

  9. kari

Has anyone elseseen the seventh generation detergent on clearance? I wonder if its worth a trip to my store to stock up

    • Julie

They had it on clearance at my store in VA. It was on an endcap. I would have gotten it but they only had scented kind and we only use fragrance free due to allergies.

    • Kim

$6.48 in GA. On an end cap. They had lavender and free & clear. If you buy dish soap there is a $2 off detergent hanging coupon attached. There’s also 10% off cartwheel so mine was $3.83. Score!

  10. Julie

Glad to see this come back around! I tried to print the eggo bites coupon but it said I’ve already printed it but I haven’t….

    • Jessica

Same thing is happening to me . It says already printed but this is the first time I seen the Q …

    • alyssa

Me too! I really wanted to coupon too. Have you ladies figured it out?

  11. Lola

In my local paper, there was a coupon in the target ad for $10 of $50 grocery purchase. Can these be stacked? And if so, does the total have to be $60 before coupons?

    • Ashley57

Only if your purchase is $100, this is from their coupon policy: “If redeeming more than one category/department or storewide coupon, you must meet the purchase requirements for each coupon individually.”

    • Krystle

With the way the wording is on the mobile q, I would split my transactions. “$10 off of $50 or more” HTH

  12. JJ

When I try to print Eggo Bites coupon, I get “Sorry! You have already printed
this coupon the number of times allowed.” – I tried 3 different computers

    • megan

That’s what happened to me on 2 different computers! I even tried going to the kelloggs website and it doesn’t show up on their coupon list.

    • Laura

The Eggo bites coupon was a special coupon for KFR members sent to their email. I believe each has a unique link. If you have a KFR account and get their emails, check your email.

      • Jessica

        Thanks for the info

    • Jane

Look for specially marked boxes of Eggo bites with Target GC on front if you buy four and enter codes on-line you receive 5.00 Target GC

  13. LoveSaving

Anyone else having issues printing target coupons? Having to reboot each time just to print a few coupons in chrome. Not working at all in ff for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks 🙂

    • Cassandane

Printing Target coupons has been wonky for about a week no matter what browser or computer I use. It is definitely a glitch on their end. Frustrating!

      • LoveSaving

I just cleared my browser history in chrome and things are working great!

    • dropofrain

one of my computers quit printing TQ

  14. Jessica

So I went to target and got a bottle of Pantene $6.00 and 2 of the anger bird toys ($4.99 each) . After coupons and using my Target Debit Card I paid $6.24. Literally got the toys for FREE…THANKS

  15. Eve

    Is this working now?

  16. Laura

Dang, I just got back from Target, although I only spent like $10 before coupons. Some things I picked up cheap:

1- Evol snack size burrito on clearance $1.26
    -$1 MQ
    -$1 Ibotta
    1-Eggo (as shown above)
    1- Gallon Milk $2.99
    -$.15 Cartwheel
    -$.50 Ibotta
    – $.50 Ibotta bonus
    1 – Noosa $2.39
    -$1 TQ
    -$.55 MQ
    -$.50 Ibotta
    -$.50 Checkout 51- yogurt
    =$4.89 at checkout
    -$3.50 Ibotta offers
    -$.50 Checkout 51
=$.89 and milk alone would have been $2.84

    • gohogsgoinar

      Woot!

  17. jhnicole

    Thank you

  18. Heidi

Target had $2 hang tags for the laundry detergent on the 7th generation dish soaps at our local store (WA state)

  19. LoveTarget

Collin, did they have that bench in any other colors?

  20. Ali

I sure miss the Target Daily Deal.

  21. Edie

Oh man that ottoman is cute.

  22. eyez

i checked online and they sell the ottoman in pink as well. in stores.

  23. Stephanie

How do I change the zip code on coupons.com to get some of the out of state coupons?

  24. Alla

This $10.00/$50.00 coupon is gonna be in Sunday’s target ad also. Can’t wait to use it with some hot MQ’s 🙂

    • Tilly

OH! Well thats good to know!! 😀

  25. nl

    awesome! thanks! so excited!!

  26. Kelly

OMG ! Ha ha! I just got home from Target and spent over $50 on food . Too late now . Next time . Lol

    • Marie S.

If you happen to go back in the next day or so, bring your receipt up to the service desk and tell them you forgot to use the mobile coupon. They have always honored it for me. 🙂

  27. Ann

Got the yellow ottoman too! Super cute! The cartwheel didn’t come off automatically for some reason so I stopped at customer service and they gave me $12 back in cash.

    • TRose

You got an extra great deal then because cartwheel always says excludes clearance. 🙂

  28. Emily

Am I the only one that read the article on Lean and Hot Pockets? The FDA said they weren’t safe for human consumption!!!! Google it!

    • Barb

Oh my gosh, I just ate one for lunch. Now I want to throw up after reading the article. I may never buy them again. Sheesh, thanks Emily for reporting this, disgusting! (Oh I read another article that said the Beef & Philly were recalled because the meat had been used by diseased animals. Quote: “USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service found that the company had processed diseased and unsound animals and carried out these activities without the benefit, or full benefit, of federal inspection in 2013 and 2014.” I feel sick already.

    • Jennifer A

Yeah, you won’t catch me eating hot pockets anytime soon. I read that article about two weeks ago, and I don’t care how cheap they are, I get sick just thinking about it! I know that the recalled ones have been pulled from store shelves, but still!

    • Cassandane

Jim Gaffigan has a hilarious skit about Hot Pockets! I can’t get a link to post, but it’s worth a YouTube search….

    • Jennifer

OMG – thank you so much for posting this – I was just getting ready to get a deal together to use the $10/$50 and these were on the list. Guess I’ll get Easter candy instead – ha!

  29. Jason

    What is the 3/9 SS?

    • Jane

The Smart Source insert from 3/9 in the newspaper

  30. Jane

Text SWEETS to 827438 for 1.00/2 Easter candy
Text APPAREL for 5.00/25.00 Apparel or accessory purchase (both will also be in ad Sunday)

    • mel

Sweets worked, but Apparel didn’t. Said can’t identify, check spelling go to target.com. Guess it isn’t live yet.

  31. Jennifer

I have a question – when I scan mobile coupon will it take off all applicable coupons associated with that barcode? Or say I have 3 different items & one barcode – do they need to scan it 3times? Sorry if I sound dense, but I tried to use one today & not all my items were adjusted? Palmolive didn’t take off $1.25, but trident took off $1.
very confusing. Thanks for your help 🙂

    • Janet

Mobile coupons will only work for one item. You can always go to cs desk and show them the q that didn’t come off. I do that whenever my mobile q’s don’t always work and I never have a problem. Hth!

    • Jane

Any item on the barcode should come off,if you have multiples I find it easier to add them to passbook then it’s only one barcode to scan.

      • Jennifer

I’m sorry, what is passbook? Trying to get the hang of all these great target deals! 🙂 I appreciate y’all trying to help!
I screenshot my barcode for cartwheel & did the same for mobile text. That doesn’t take qpons off all items on that mobile list? Ugh. Sorry if i am being confusing:/

        • Jennifer T

Passbook is an app on your phone where you can store most of your store cards. I have Target, Walgreens, Sephora, my Target Cartwheel, and Starbucks card on mine. Some stores, like Sephora, actually have a link to passbook on their mobile site. Some of my cards (local) don’t work in Passbook so I use the Cardstar app for the rest.

          • Lisa

I believe Passbook is an iPhone feature. Other phones may have something similar, but will be named differently.

  32. Mini

Hi! Nothing to do with this post but is there anyone who has a code for $15off in any sport bra from Victoria secret? I know it expires tomorrow so I am in desperate need of one please let me know at casper.m86@hotmail.com (TIA)

  33. Jennifer Thomas

I did the text hours ago and haven’t gotten a reply yet. How long does it take to get the text? Thanks!

    • Mary

They usually send it within less than a minute of receiving the text. Maybe try again?

      • Jennifer T

Thank you! It showed up right away this time. I did it the first time in all caps because that’s how it was posted. This time I didn’t and I got it right away!

    • Jennifer

Yes, my thus far have come instantly. Did you retry?

      • Jennifer T

Yeah I did and it worked – got it right away. The first time I did it in all caps since that is how it was posted and I didn’t do all caps this time. I wonder if that’s why.

  34. casey

Is it just me or does anybody else get frustrated when people take the coupons off items they are not using?! The coupon is intended to go to the individual who is purchasing THAT item. In my mind, it is stealing.

    • Nik

I am the opposite. Some of my best deals come from peelies I have collected and saved. Now don’t get me wrong I do not sit there and take every single one, but I will take what I need for myself and my family. You do what you gotta do.

      • Tracey C

Just some food for thought, I used to work for a coupon company that placed coupons in stores. Every now and then we would get a job with a roll of peelies coupons and a list of products to go stick them on. They had a list of preferred items, like place 20 on aloe, 20 on cocoa butter, 10 on any other dish soap. If the numbers weren’t available, we were to put them on any other available ones. And there was no need to record which we put them on as long as we placed as many as we had or could. They usually did this to boost sales or to compete. While they had preferences for which products had the peelies, they also had a plan to just get them on a product. If there were 50 bottles (of dishsoap for instances), and it said place 20, it was kind of a chance encounter if you got one. I’m not sure I’d call it a scam to take a peelie, as the peelie wasn’t necessarily intended for “that” customer/product. Take away from this what you will, but I just wanted to throw that out there in case some of you thought it was an exact science, meant for exact people. Just wanted to share.

    • Cara

Yeah, it’s scamming the system to take peelies off something you aren’t buying. Not at all what it’s intended for and is cheating the people who should be getting them. “Do what you gotta do” but know that you’re doing something wrong.

      • Mel

Exactly how is it a “scam” to take a peelie off a product you’re not buying? I’ll peel if the coupon interests me, but I don’t take off every single item. I’ve also bought products and noticed a spot where a peelie was. I don’t think its that serious and I certainly don’t get upset over it. I also know a product rep and he’s told me sometimes grocers have stockers take the peelies off products he’s just put out! Another thing is maybe the coupon expired, and some stores will have those taken off too. So you can’t assume it’s a peelie thief.

  35. Ketryna

So I scored today using the mobile coupon. Thanks Collin. So appreciative of all your hard work. Im lovin Target recently.

  36. griscelda

Ever since I switched to sprint and no longer have an iPhone I cannot receive text from target. Anyone having this issue???

    • Laura

I have sprint and an LG droid and I’ve never had trouble with it. Did you try signing up online instead of texting Target? I think you can sign up on the app too.

  37. Jennifer

SUPER GREAT TIP!! Of course I read it hear – when using Cartwheel and Mobile Coupons, take a screenshot pic on your smart phone and have the cashier scan that – works perfectly!!! I’m always so embarrassed when I hold up the line pulling up mobile coupons and cartwheel – takes so long on my phone but with the screenshots saved in my camera image folder I just went zip, zip, zip!!

    • Jennifer

Oh man, was supposed to be “here!”

    • Jennifer T

Question – don’t all the Target mobile coupons go into the mobile coupon barcode? Like in cartwheel you can add multiple items to your cartwheel barcode and they all come off at once. Isn’t it the same for the Target Mobile coupons? I’ve never used the mobile ones as there hasn’t been any I would use till this one. Or are you talking about mobile coupons from other sources that can’t be loaded into the Target Mobile Coupon barcode? Thanks!

      • Mel

No, they don’t lump them onto one barcode, I guess b/c of all the different exp dates. BUT if you have the Target app, they will all be stored under the Deals & Coupon tab. Once you open the text link, that’s where they’ll be stored. So you can just open the app (I do it right before getting in line), and scroll through for the cashier to scan the bar codes. I can’t figure out how to do a screen shot on my phone (someone tried to give me directions, but it didn’t work, it shut the phone down!)

        • Jennifer T

LOL on shutting your phone off … it took some practice for me to do screenshots without locking my phone. You have to hit both buttons at same time. I did play with my Target app and saw the grocery coupons is on the ‘next’ screen in the mobile coupon section. So I can just slide to the next screen. Now lets hope I remember! LOL

    • emily s

thank you so much for this tip!

  38. Pat

I used it yesterday and scored. I used target coupons, text coupons (printed those out), manufactuer coupons, the cartwheel, and got another 5% off using my red card. It was awesome. I was at $79 dollars but after everything it went down to 34.31 so after two gift cards it was 24.31. I still have to go back to get one of the palmolive text coupons credited along with another one so that will be 2.25 more off of it. It was awesome. Thank you so much Collin for all your hard work keeping us informed.

  39. Heidi

Is there a limit to how many mobile coupons you can use in one transaction? I still haven’t used my mobile coupons from a couple weeks ago that have the $1 off fruit, etc. Can I scan all three? Also – going back a couple weeks ago to those 2 mobile coupons do you have to purchase two of each item or can you get both discounts off one item. For instance the Wheat Thins is $1 on one mobile and $.75 on the second. Can I use both and get $1.75 off one box or do I need to buy two boxes? Thanks!

    • Mel

There’s not limit on how many mobile q’s you can use in the transaction, just have the cashier scan each bar code. The screen will prompt that “x” number of coupon/s have been applied. Target receipts are really hard to figure out, so if the coupon doesn’t show up underneath the item, look at the bottom of the receipt before the total, it’ll show additional deductions.
You can only apply 1 Target coupon per item, so you would not be able to use both to get $1.75 off 1 box. 2 coupons = 2 items.

      • Mel

        *No limit*

  40. cindy

is candy included in 10 off 50? i am wondering can i combine the 5 gift card with purchase of 20 of easter candy? does the candy count towards the 50 dlls?

  41. Dag

My Target takes paper coupons first then mobile then cartwheel. Do i need to have the cashier scan the 10 off 50 first?

  42. Vkramis

Just came back from target using some of these deals. The cashier said they changed coupon policy and they are no longer taking manufacture coupons if the amount exceeds more then half the cost after target coupons. Has anyone else been told that?

    • Barb

That must be a new policy. I went this morning and had a huge haul! Took my husbands cell phone and my cell phone, did (5) transactions so I could roll GC and use 2 target mobile $10/$50 coupons. My totals before coupons and gift cards was $171.20, after all target coupons, mobile, $5 candy coupon, cartwheel, gift card promos, and manufacture coupons I paid $39.17 for everything, and that includes tax! Way under half. I sure hope they don’t change their coupon policy otherwise I might not shop there as much. CANDY $5 COUPON TIP: If you plan on using the $5 candy mobile/printable coupon AND the $10/$50 coupon in the same transaction they won’t work. I was lucky to have a nice cashier who deducted $10 from my total, but for some reason the two won’t work together. The second transaction I did the $10/$50 coupon deducted without any problems. Just be prepared. 🙂

    • Jennifer T

It doesn’t say that on their website under their coupon policy. It does say they won’t take more off than the coupon is worth – so if your coupon is for $1.50 off and it’s $1.49 they’ll take off the $1.49.

  43. shelly

I did the candy and grocery coupon together and it didn’t work on it’s own, but they did push it through. I also noticed that I had been taxed on something. Food isn’t taxed in Wisconsin and I am wondering if the candy was considered something else and that is why it didn’t work. I ended up getting 4 Hasbro games for $21 and my candy and groceries were $22!

  44. Mona

So if I use this at Publix will it work like at Target? Meaning I can use it before all mfr and store coupons?

  45. Sherrie

I can’t believe you bought that yellow storage bench, Collin. I have been eyeing this for a couple of weeks. I finally decided I was going to buy it and it was GONE! I called today and my store said they may be discontinuing it but to check back next week. Ugh! I do hope I luck out and can get it. I will even pay full price… yup full price! lol By the way I LOVE watching your videos. Thanks for all your help. 🙂
