UPDATE: Apparently this deal is only valid on select Sharpies and not all Walgreens locations may carry the ones that are also on a monthly sale, so please keep that in mind before heading out.

I just love it when Walgreens monthly and weekly deals overlap, as it usually makes for some BIG savings! With that being said, as I mentioned in the Walgreens Weekly Deals, Sharpie Permanent Marker (singles) are on sale for just $0.39 with in ad coupon (found in the weekly ad). PLUS – through April 26th, they are on a monthly sale Buy 1 Get 1 50% off!

So check out the *HOT* deal you can score:

Sharpie Permanent Marker singles $0.39 with in ad coupon
Buy 4 AND based on how they calculate the deductions for the monthly sale and in ad coupon, your final cost will be just $0.78 for all 4 Sharpie Permanent Markers – makes each one just $0.20! Awesome! 😀

So, do you need to buy 4 or will buying 2 result in this same discount? Or can you also buy 6, since that’s the coupon limit, and still get this pricing? Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, I am thinkin’ purchasing 2 or 6 would result in the same discount! 🙂

      • Jennifer B.

Thank you, Collin, for your speedy response to my question and for ALL you do for us here on Hip2Save!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

  2. Brandee

Was able to purchase 6 all different colors today all but the twin tip was .39 for one and .04 for the second!!

I’m confused on how this math works out

    • Hailey

So the sharpies are originally $1.39. And with the coupon it take a dollar off the price bringing it down to $0.39. We’ll this month when u buy 2 you get the second one for $0.69 ( or hafe off). We’ll the coupon take off a dollar for each sharpie so since it’s only $0.69 it takes off $0.69 off the second one making it you pay $0.39 for the first and nothing for the second. Then they come to $0.20 a piece.

Do I need a Walgreens card for this deal??

        • mel

Yes. Walgreens requires a card now to get the sale price, even with the in-ad coupon offers.

This deal is only for select Sharpies and my store did not have the right kind. Bummer

  11. Lynn

Just got 6 fine tip for 1.17 total. Cashier was like “what?? How the heck are these ringing up? They must be BOGO!” Lol…she was confused.

  12. Kim

Bought 2 fine tip for $.42 with tax. Dark gray and navy.

  13. Carla

Just purchased 18 in different colors $.20 ea. Hip2Save you rock! Great for school projects.

Did the cashier give anyone trouble with beeping coupons or anything ( the walgreens one ) or was it smooth sailing at checkout?

    • Elizabeth

No beeping with my transaction and no issues. The coupon says limit 6 and I had at least 10 in my transaction and all 10 were marked down in the transaction. The deal only worked on fine tips though. No neon colors, brush, twin point, etc.

      • Mel

Nope, no beeping. Just make sure you get the right markers, its just the ones like in the ad coupon photo. It says “fine point” on the barrel. There were seveal Neon colors clearanced to .69, but I didn’t try to see if they rang up BOGO or if the ad coupon would have applied.
The cashier was so surprised, she said she was going to grab some after her shift!

  15. Tracy

I have a question about the point booster coupon. Can I do more than one transaction and get the 5000 points for each one as long as each transaction is over$25?

  16. Evan

No go for me with 6! Will try again later at another store! Did get 4.
Also Neon was not included for me even though it was fine tip.

  17. dazz

just scored 18…all fine point and different colors for 2.75 w/tax…going again tomorrow…

    • Beth

did you have 3 coupons or did they not say anything?

      • dazz

i did three transactions…six per transaction and he just re-scanned the same coupon…i didn’t even tear it our the paper…just showed it to him…
