I like wal mart meat. If you can see the white specks on the red meat it usually doesnt have the pink slime. Im in ohio and giant eagle meat is all the same color…pink! Then i talked to the butcher who said it is mixed with the slime but that it should cook out… No thanks. I buy almost all my beef from wakl mart. 93/7. Tastes good. 🙂

I price matched Smiths HH .79 and Albertsons IM $3.49/lb 93%lean at Walmart today and used $1/2 MQ on the HH.

How does price match bogo work at walmart?
Bogo has to have the price for the item you’re buying. Ex. Buy 1 box for 1.99 get one free. Hth!

Not in FL. They changed the policy about six months ago – you get the Publix BOGO at Walmart’s price.
Since the coupons we want to use are for $1 off of 2, could we buy six hamburger helpers in one transaction, use 3 – $1 off 2 coupons, buy 2 packages of hamburger and submit for the 2 rebates together, in other words 1 receipt for 2 rebates? That way would be the most economical with the coupons.

My cousin bought hamburger from Walmart to make spaghetti it stunk and tasted strange. Hamburger Helper has to may additives like MSG and Walmart gasses their beef so it’s disgusting don’t know how anyone could eat it or make their family eat it.

Im not sure we can do both rebates at the same time. The rebate form says to submit the original reciept. So if you buy 6 HH and however much gound beef, one rebate will have the original recipt and one will have a copy. It would be nice if we can do them at the same time since the coupon has you buying in 2’s, I’m going to email GM and see if I can get a better understaning of how it will work.
I’ve requested “copies” of the receipt, printed right there at the cash register, for various beer rebates, and they look just like the original…Just ask the cashier for a copy.

Got mine last night. HH was $1, used 3 $1/2 coupons and got 2 lbs of ground beef for $5.18 each. Will pay just $3 for all after rebate 🙂 Will donate the HH. I did both rebates on one form and one receipt and highlighted that it was 2 rebates and I that I bought the 3 required products for each. Form doesnt say they have to mailed separately.
Does it seem odd to anyone else, or is it just me? I understand this rebate to say “write the UPC codes from the boxes on to the original receipt”, that seems weird instead of cutting them out plus my UPC codes are exactly what is ALREADY printed on the receipt next to the item I purchased. Am I reading this wrong? I hope not since I just mailed off my rebate.

Okay, so I called the “main” Walmart Cust. Ser. number and was not able to reach a “person” regarless of which option I chose, so ended up calling my local Walmart, was treated VERY badly, was told very harshly “I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT!!!!” So, I replied, “obviously… please connect me to someone who might.” So, I was connected to (accounting?) She took my info… (also had no idea what I was talking about). Said she will get back to me with info ASAP. She suspects they will want to do an investigation because they know nothing about it… Are you kidding me? Wow… wont be doing another Walmart rebate for sure.
