If you’re a fan of Greek Yogurt (that’s me! 🙂 ) and have a Sam’s Club nearby, here’s an in-store deal you may want to snatch up! It appears that the Dash Greek Yogurt Maker Sets are currently on sale for just $19.81 (regularly $49.98!), which seems like an awesome discount considering they’re priced around $45+ on Amazon with great reviews!

Even sweeter, you can actually purchase the Raspberry colored set online for $19.81 and pick it up at your local Sam’s Club (if in stock)! Keep in mind that both colored sets may be on sale, so consider calling your local store to verify before heading over there.

I found this Yogurt Maker at 3 different Sam’s and has good reviews on Amazon. It’s 60% off because they aren’t going to carry it anymore! If anyone wants to call in advance they can ask for item number 189751. They were full of stock at my stores.” [/h2s_box]

*Come back and let us know if you’re able to find this same deal at your store!

Choose the Raspberry one and then select a store to see the price.

You could just call and have them put it on hold for you??

be sure to read the amazon reviews first. I wanted to buy this until I saw that it doesn’t make the yogurt from start to finish, it’s more like a finish ‘helper’ thus not a true yogurt maker. :/

I was about to make this exact same comment! Except with a different web address, but in the end all recipes are pretty much exactly the same, haha.

      Thanks for the link, Jac!

Will def give this a try! What yogurt has been working best for you who had tried?

My favorite starter yogurt is Fage. The bacteria cultures in it are different from some of the other brands, and it produces a really mild, smooth yogurt. After you make your own, you can set aside some of that batch to use a starter for the next batch.

Also, I’ve never added powdered milk as the above recipe suggests, but have had good results from straining the finished yogurt to thicken it. The downside of straining is that it produces about half the original volume (1/2 gal. milk becomes 1 qt. Greek yogurt + 1 qt. whey). Has anyone tried powdered milk in theirs?

My SAMs has the raspberry one on sale for $15 but it is out of stock. I checked another store and it was listed for $19 something. So the deal might be better in other places.

Watched the video on how to use it, and was too long to wait before eating it.Seemed more like a helper then a start to finish product to make yogurt.

I bought this at full price from the company. Used it once and then gave it away on Freecycle. Too time consuming and not that much savings, especially since I coupon well enough to get cheap Greek yogurt!

My husband got this for me for Christmas and we really like it. In fact my husband is the one that uses it. So it’s pretty easy to use. 🙂 The first time we tried heating the milk to temp in a double boiler set up. But we didn’t get it up to the right temperature and it was pretty runny. Since then he’ s been using the microwave and found that to be an easier way to get the milk to temp. Now he gets a nice thick yogurt. We haven’t bothered with the strainer as we like regular yogurt just fine.
The 9 hour time hasn’t been a problem. He starts it in the morning and it’s ready by dinner time. I like being able to make our own organic yogurt. And I love that my husband has really taken to it!!
