You could have stopped after the first one. 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awww – you are so sweet! Thanks! 🙂

  2. Jen Mc

I have most of these and they are all great. My fav is Hip though! 🙂 since you have shopmium on the list I wonder if anyone can answer my question. I just bought a Method hand soap at Target and am trying to get my $1 rebate through Shopmium. I am scanning the barcode and it keeps telling me it doesn’t match the offer. The offer says any hand soap. The one I bought is even in the picture. Any ideas how I can get it to work? Should I send them a msg?

    • beth

I tried a week ago and it did not work for the method i got either. Have emailed them 3 times now and no response.

      • Ash

Their customer service is not good . I bought sunships and paid $2 for it and requested the rebate. They rejected it and asked me to buy the product again. They could not fulfill because it’s 2 or less! I emailed them it didn’t say anything about that product price should be moe than 2 and they replied after 3 weeks that they will think about it. Now it’s more than 2 weeks they didn’t do any thing. Don’t like shopmium!

    • Jessica

I had this happen with the Sunchips on a previous offer. I emailed them repeatedly over and over and nothing! I probably sent around 20 emails in about a months time. I am still in shock/disbelief that there was never any type of response. Other than that I haven’t had any other problems with Shopmium. Just apparently they don’t have any customer service skills.

    • Jennifer B

I’ve had an offer pending on Shopmium for a week now. As soon as I’m credited for it, I’m deleting the app. I’ve never had anything but incredibly slow service. It’s just not worth it, especially when there are so many other great apps out there!!

      • Jennifer Liscio

I have had problems with shopmium also. It takes more time but I always make sure I scan the product before I buy it, that way I am positive I will get my rebate. A week ago I bought the method had soap and when I got home the app would not let me request my rebate. Yesterday I bought another method hand soap (Target has a great deal right now) and scanned in store before I purchased and it worked this time. Seems they have a few bugs to work out

        • Jessica

Thank you for posting all of that! I was debating on that one and am going to decide against it. Sounds like there might be too many issues.

    • Crescent City Couponer

Shopmium is very slow to respond. It took them over a month to answer my question. I think they’re very understaffed. Shopmium started/is based in France, so, maybe there’s a language barrier as well.

      • SF

I have shopmium and never had any problems with them. The very first receipt I sent in took 2 or 3 days, after that everything else shows up the next day at latest. I like them.

  3. Denise

Excellent! Thank you Hip2Save! A ‘friend’…just got my…eh, hem HER first smart phone, will check these out!

  4. eyez

Hip is by all my FAVORITE….5 stars. i check this site a thousand times a day. Collin you are AMAZING. my next favorite is cartwheel.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thank you so much! 🙂

      • eyez

        you are quite welcome

  5. bonnie18

Thanks so much for this list of apps Collin! And, for all you do for us everyday!!!

  6. Jodi

I’m reading this list on my phone! Thanks Collin!

  7. Jennifer Liscio

I have a great app on my Android phone. It is called ReceiptHog. All you have to do is snap pics of any receipts you receive, (only works for superstores, drug stores, grocery stores, liquor stores, and convience stores), receipts earn you coins, and once you rack up enough coins you can trade them for cash or gift cards. To me this is free money for taking pics of receipts I would receive no matter what. I think after you take enough pics of receipts it will give you other options on earning coins, such as scanning bar codes taking surveys. I have not uploaded enough to receive these offers yet. The only draw back I can see is it takes a lot of receipts to receive a rebate, but once again it just takes a few mins of my time for receipts I usually just toss.

    • Steph

I also use this and find myself grabbing receipts in the parking lot lol. 3 receipts per store per date. 🙂

      • Jennifer Liscio

Thanks for the tip. I did not realize there was a limit on how many receipts you could upload. Must have missed that section when reading the instructions.

    • Laura

      LOVE RECEIPT HOG!
      So far I’ve redeemed $60
It does take some time to redeem, but it’s a no brainer. You already have the receipts. Also good on pet stores.

    • Maryann

ReceiptHog also has an app called Shoparoo that works the same way but gives the money to a school or charity of your choosing. I found out the hard way that you can’t use both.

  8. C

Oooh…I wish you’d get rewarded for the iPeriod…that would sure brighten up a portion of the month! LOL

    • Janice

      LOL. That is too funny!

  9. Michelle

How about Jingit? I only use Ibotta and checkout51

    • mel

I was a big fan when I first heard about them. It used to be you would get credit for watching videos and scanning items at stores (Walmart, Target & CVS). The videos & scans were aplenty. Now, they changed it to where you get credit for purchases. Videos are far and few between. And the scans have been the same for me for months, and most of the time it tells me to “get closer” when I’m standing inside Walmart!! But, Free money is free money, so I keep the app, just check it weekly to see what new offers are available!

  10. Zosia

    I use Hip2save :), saving star, ibotta and checkout51.
I use for teally long time receipt hog. It took a while untill i was able to get fiat pay out but now got amarter with this app. In order to get more coins for each receipts and get extra spin for each receipt you need to keep 4500 coins in the account ($30). This way you’re getting 25% more for tour receipts. I can also submit bcs of that receips from amazon and walmart. They have extras during hollidays . As i calculated with status i have thanks to my points i can get from this app around $100 a year.
I also have the app ride- works slowly but since you dont have to do anything t- it is counting the miles traveled and you can get gifts card for that- i dont mind.

  11. Kelly Kane

I love the Hip2Save and Cartwheel apps too! Use them all the time!

Another great iPhone app that all the moms here may want to check out is memorEbook.

It helps you quickly and easily add photos/videos from your phone to a digital scrapbook and safely share those memories with close family and friends (rather than posting them all to Facebook). 🙂

I’ve been horrible at completing my kids baby books and scrapbooks so this app makes it so easy!

  12. Nicolle

Viggle is not worth it anymore. They never have any gift cards available, just discount coupons.

  13. JustinFL

Another great one is SnipSnap! One of the best!

  14. Megan

Like iPeriod, I use pTracker. For once in my life I can actually give accurate information when I have a doctor appointment. I have also used it for vacation planning. It’s always a bummer to get your period during vacation.

  15. Mel

Don’t forget about Mobee! It’s similar to mystery shopping where you do a quick audit at a given location. Starbucks is a big one; you can earn $2 by evaluating your experience. It’s so easy and adds up quick if you frequent Starbucks or Mcdonalds, and other locations. Use my code MVRP for an extra $3 on your first mission!

    • palak16

Hi i use your code to try the app.. Thanks..

    • Toni

Mel, I used your code as well.

    • Naomi

I just used your referral code as well! I looked what’s offered in my area and it looks like there’s only one place in 10 mile radius and everything else is 40 miles out! I was a bit shocked since I live in fairly populated area (SF Bay Area) but hopefully they will increase mission places over time since it looks like they just made the app:) Thanks for the info!

  16. katie

I’ve had good luck with shopmium…they can be a little slow to respond but the cash hits my account fast. For th ed method soap – I’d send them a picture of the barcode so they can add it

  17. :)

Hey! Hip is my fave! Here’s another app for everyone. It’s called feature points. All you have to so is download different free apps to build points. You can cash your points in to redeem gift cards to amazon or cash them into your paypal. Super easy. Please use my link here and earn 50 points. https://featu.re/G6BQSF thanks guys!

  18. Katey

Is the only way to get your cash in Jingit to use their debit card?

  19. Emma

I’m not sure if anyone mentioned it yet but I love Perk TV. It’s like the swagbucks tv app in that it’s video clips and ads. You earn 4 perk points per 2 videos/ads. The best part is that you can leave it going all day and night if you want and can have the same account on multiple devices. Points can be swopped for all kinds of gift cards. For each device you run you will earn about $1 a day and can run up to five at a time if you have multiple phones in your house. Runs on iphone, ipad and some androids.
My referral link is :www.perk.com/perk/invite/b0f4db73 if anyone feels like using it.

  20. Emma

Ebates is also a good one for online shopping. They pay you a small percentage of what you spend at participating retailers. Payout is either to paypal or an amazon gift card. If you go through this link and spend $25 on something that is eligible for cashback by june 30 then I believe you get a $10 gift card. https://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=OWAHCQJH87E%2B9JGdggv%2FfQ%3D%3D

  21. Becca

This was super helpful, I have a ton I friends that ask me to teach them how to coupon and I always try to refer them back to this app because I love it so much. I just shared this to my Facebook so hopefully it will help some of my friends get started. Also some apps I didn’t see mentioned, receipt hog, favado, flipp, coupons.com for extra prints from moble devices, and if anyone likes Rita’s Italian ice they have an app that you use as a punch card and can get a free Italian ice after 7 punches. Hope this helps 😃

  22. Dee

I agree with Mel! Mobee is a great app!

  23. Viola

I use Evernote for my shopping lists. It’s free and you can install it on your PC & phone or just log in from the web; it syncs between devices. When I make my shopping list, I just copy & paste from couponing blogs into Evernote on my computer. At the store, I use my phone to see my list. It saves paper and, because it’s searchable, I can also use Evernote for pricepoints (e.g. if I want to know if what the store is currently charging for Oreos is a good deal, I can just type in “Oreo” and it will pull up all of my shopping lists with that word in it so I can see what I paid previously). It takes all the extra work out of keeping a pricebook.

  24. Holls

For Android, Out of Milk app comes in handy. It lets you make To-Do Lists, Make Grocery lists, scan the items in your pantry so you always know what you have while you are at the store (really handy for spices). Also I stopped using Jingit because there are way too many fees just to redeem your rewards. Scantopia is a pretty neat app too, you scan items around your house and you can get coupons or randomly you are rewarded money for your scans, there are also weekly drawings for stuff too. I have had the app for about a month and made $8.00 (pays for my Netflix account hehe)

    • Holls

      I didn’t know there was a Hip2Save app…just downloaded it 🙂

  25. Cherry A

New app that came out in June.
    Makeup Genius by L’Oreal
Your image to test products in a new and effective way. So much fun and innovative product testing. Will save money by being able to try the drugstore beauty products before buying.

  26. 2Mom's 1cute Kid

Thanks I’m new to saving with this new mom & house wife thing but it’s fun because it’s not a must… But who don’t like saving money lol so thanks
