I have a question for everyone.. I used to love Walgreens (mainly for their endcap clearances) but after discovering CVS and combining discounts and coupons I’m over Walgreens.. I have never had a successful couponing transaction there, I read about people combining store coupons and manufacturer but they have never let me do that at any store in Louisiana or Texas and I’ve been to tons- if I use a coupon from their monthly coupon book they never let me combine it with a manufacturer coupon.. Is this normal?

I have shopped at the Walgreens in Flower Mound and Lewisville and they have taken the booklet coupon with mfr coupons. Although, if you have a return, stay away from either location… the manager is not friendly once they know you have a return.

yes, you can get one in the store. They’ll be available with the weekly ads, or around the store, like the pharm counter, checkout counter or plastic bins on endcaps.
I’ve never had a problem combining store coupons either from the coupon book or Walgreens ad with manufacturer coupons either from the Sunday paper or printed online.
One of my local stores never let’s me combine coupons, and is frequently annoying about allowing me to use any. I go to a different store to save hassle.
Don’t forget about the $4.00 Almay manufacturer coupon that you can stack with the $2.00 walgreens coupon
The only time I ever have a problem combining coupons is if my coupon to item ratio is off. If I have a store coupon and a manufacturers coupon for one item, I have to make sure I buy 2 items to be able to use both. They have a ton of cheap filler items to help with that.
I think you are confused Kristi. You don’t need a filler item when you combined a store coupon and a MQ on one item. You only have to worry about item-coupon ratio with MQs.
Kristi, you don’t need a filler item to stack a store coupon and a manufactures coupon unless you are going to pay with a register reward. If your store is making you buy a filler item in order to stack the sc/mc politely show them their coupon policy.
I have neverhad to buy filler items so I never understood that rule. Now when I finally use my register reward coupons I will use filler items, but never had a prob with store and manufacturers coupons combined. I always have more coupons than items.
My WalGreens store does not seem to have to coupon booklets. Where can I find them otherwise?
