My staples on gulfgate Houston tx is closing the store on. 5/17 or 5/14 there marking lots of stuff down

    • shannon

our store is closing soon too. Soooo sad because there rebate program is much better than Office Depot, which will be the only office supply store left in town. Do you know if you can order items online from Staples and still qualify for the great rebates?

The $1/$5 Crayola coupon says one coupon per purchase on any Crayola product $5 or greater. Silly question – since the 8-ct markers are $4.49, can we then use the coupon if we buy 2 boxes or is the coupon only valid on a single item $5 or more?

  3. chantel

Anyone know if you actually have to print the coupons? Well they just scan my phone instead? Or I see a store coupon code on them, not sure if they can just enter that?

    • Shel

Just pull it up on your phone; they can type in the code. I love that they’ll do it that way…saves a lot of ink 🙂

Yes thank u collin!!I just receive my rebate a week ago for free paper..plus I use my reward from discover I redeem 50 gift card..is better to get gift card than to your balance because u gain 10 dollars.its moneymaker for me..and guess what I just redeem another 50 dollar gift card should arrive I believe before the sale end..another monemaker for me!!lol.. I love credit card award deal..my husband use it a lot that’s why I always redeem points..plus pay it every month that way u don’t have to pay interest..thanks collin

liezel – That’s what I do with my Discover Cash Rewards! I usually cash in $20 and get a Staples Gift Card worth $25. I’ve been doing this for quite a while now. Then I buy items at Staples with the gift card that have a rebate, submit rebate online (nothing to mail so no cost for stamp or an envelope) and when I get the rebate back, I put that money in a special envelope and use that money again to purchase more Staples rebate items. It’s been a WIN, WIN for me! Of course, the key to make this work is to ALWAYS pay the Discover Card off each and every month and NEVER pay one cent of interest. I also DO NOT pay any annual fee to carry the Discover Card. The Staples Gift Cards do not have to be used all at one time. Leizel, I know you know all of this but I’m posting this for those that may not know how to work it.

      • liezel

Yup that’s what doin..lol just receive my 2(25) gift card today..!I still have the check from staples with my rebate lastime..I use last week the visa 34.00 at Fry’s.. 😉 were smart..hahaha..wat I’m doing with my OfficeMax I rolled my reward.then use it to 100% back reward then wait for another 100% been doing it for a yr now

I did this deal a few weeks ago, used a $1 coupon, and in the rebate form, they will refund me whatever I paid, so not a moneymaker. It says limit 1 per household, does anyone know if That is a limit of 1per year or would I be able to do this deal again even though I submitted the rebate for the offer a few weeks ago when it was offered.

    • AMBER

Yes, usually in the past I only get the price paid after coupons and they do the coupons in a crazy way. If you were to buy two items and use a coupon on the one that didn’t have the rebate they will apply a percentage of the coupon to the item with the rebate even if the coupon is not for the rebate item. Then the rebate is less than what you paid! For this reason I try to do separate orders when I have any kind of coupon. It’s really complicated!

      • visitor3

        thanks for the tip!

    • George

Yes, check the rebates online for the east rebates. It will show the rebate number and when it is valid. Usually a new week is a new rebate deal.

    • Jcatz824

Tracy – you can do the deal again. The rebate form should have a different rebate offer number on it. You can also do the paper deals each and every time that they offer them – which usually is every week.

  6. liezel

Tracy u can do it again I believe so.since its a different week..or to make it sure just call costumer service

  7. Kathryn

Can you use both the 25% back in rewards plus the other in-ad coupons on the same items?

  8. Milaxx

I did the Keruig deal online and went through ebates. You can’t use the $25% off coupon but ebates has one for $15 off $50 plus you bet the 2% for using ebates. I think it balances out to the same discount give or take a few dollars. Been wanting one for a while this deal made it worth it.

    I have a question:
I’m planning on purchasing the Brother P-Touch PTD200 Labeler at Staples this week. It’s $39.99; after the $30 easy rebate, it’s $9.99. Can I price match the labeler with Office Max ($19.99) and still receive the rebate? If I price match, will I receive a $10 rebate, the full $30 rebate, or no rebate at all (due to the price match?

    • Jcatz824

I don’t know how Staples would handle this. It is possible that they might not even “price match” the item because it has an easy rebate. You could call and speak with the store mgr. but I think I would call customer service. I have found that my store mgr. (and the cashiers) don’t always know how things work. I think that you would probably only get a $10. easy rebate (probably in the form of a Visa Debit Card) because I can’t see them giving you back $30.
