I tried this at Walgreens in PGH. and they would not take the 2.00 coupon for Revlon eye shadow

    • Casey

Call corporate or send email store immed. Gets a copy if send email and they have to explain to corporate, do not use ur address. We have a lady here we call the coupon nazi but after several calls by lots of us couponers she’s nicer and takes the coupons.

    • CW

Mine would not take it because the value of the coupon was higher than the item. Would not adjust down.

      • terri

That’s why a lot of people hate to shop at Walgreens

Instead of printing the coupon you can just upload it to your rewards card from their website. Is that right? It says manufacturer coupon under it.

  3. Casey

This eyeshadow is terrible lots are often already broken (shadow crumbled). And they are tiny:(. Mine came to .76 tax & not sure worth it. I think they are made to fit in the revlon case so u can customize your shadows. I guess good in a pinch and the black w wet brush might be ok for liner.

There is better deal in cvs

    • Eunice

It’s better to use the coupons at cvs as they are more coupon friendly unlike walgreens.

    • Mandy

      what is the cvs deal?

      • mel

There is a deal this week to spend $10, get $3. But last week, the magic machine printed out a $5 off Any 2 Revlon Cosmetics purchase for me. It was a nice MM!

        I bought 4 shadow links at $2.79 each = $11.16
        – 5/2 MCM coupon
        – $8 (used 4 IPs from 2 computers)
I also had a 25 % coupon, and that took off an additional $2.79

I had other items in my order (I did the food deal on page 2, so the overage applied towards that, used $8 in bucks a little under $2, including tax!

        • mel

I take that back, not a MM since I rolled the same amount of extrabucks that I got in return. (used $8, got $8)
If you’re only buying the shadows, you could add a $2 filler to cover the overage, then it’d be a MM since you’d get a $3 ECB in return.

Lol you can buy 9 for $27 next week use 9 $2 coupons + wags coupon get 9 free and use 5000 pt booster . Free $5 Moneymaker

    • Cindy

      Wow that’s good

    • Cindy

      Thanks

    • Ashley hackett

That’s be great if everyone had five computers!! Ha ha = )

      • Diana

        Or use cell phones/ipad πŸ™‚

    • Janet

Doesn’t the coupon limit to 4
      like coupons per transaction??

      • K

Only if it’s stated in the fine print on the coupon or the store has a policy of only 4 like coupons in a transaction.

  6. Edwin

Just had to vent this: “oh some free eyeshadow for my mom yay!”
Printer: let me just jam twice and use up your prints.
Omg this printer is so lucky I’m in a good mood.

    • Jessica

Lol love this and your spirit!! Sorry about the printer πŸ™

  7. Mmcgoye

Can you use the coupon in Walgreens book for more than one product? Say if you want to buy 3 eye shadows and you have 3 man coupons, will the Walgreens coupon be applied to all three as well?

    • Janet

Coupon states 1 off 2 so you would need to buy 2 or 4 to get the most out of the store q. Hth!

      • K

No the coupon is $1 off 1 not 2. The coupon usually states what the limit is.

    • mel

You only need to present 1 booklet coupon for the cashier to scan and the register will apply to all 3 items.
And for those that weren’t aware, If a wags booklet or in ad coupon is, for example, $1 off 3 and you buy 1 item, The register will prorate the coupon value and take off $0.33. If you buy 5 items it’ll take if $1.66.

  8. Deedee

Will it work if we give mfg coupon first, then wags coupon? I’m just not into having something beep and asking them to adjust down.

    • mel

I always give manuf coupons first, then Walgreens coupons. This prevents beeping b/c if you give the Walgreens coupon first, it changes the price to $1.99 and the $2 coupon will beep.

  9. Jen

At my Walgreen’s one rand up full price of $2.99 and the second was 50% off and rung up for $1.49!

  10. Pam

I tried using an electronic coupon from their site for $2 off any Revlon eye product. The register only took off $1 instead of 2. I called customer service fora walgreens.com & the lady added 2000 points to my balance reward card. Nice πŸ™‚ Just watch your receipts if you use those e-coupons.

  11. Ne Ne aka iB@S

This works. There is a certain way that they have to ring it up. Because when I first tried it the lady told me she couldn’t do it. So I left and sat in my car to read the store policy…from Walgreen site. Then I went back in and told her to explain to me why she couldn’t do it, so she paged her manager because she couldn’t (she just didn’t want me to get it). So the manager came in he rung it up…and I didn’t have to pay a penny β˜ΊοΈπŸ˜›

*** he said something about face value and he had to manually enter something. Anywho that will hold that snobby lady…Maybe she can use these tips and get her some make to fix her face because she looked boo boo the clown when I walked out the store with my FREE makeup πŸ˜‚πŸ˜›
