Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres
Starting as early as May 21st (will depend on your location), participating Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theaters will be kicking off their 9-week Summer Movie Express 2014 and encouraging moviegoers of all ages to climb aboard to enjoy a selection of G or PG-rated films for only $1 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting at 10AM. Carmike Cinemas:
Starting in June (may vary by location), visit participating Carmike Cinemas every Thursday at 10AM for their Summer Kid Series. For only $4 per person, the Summer Kid Series Combo includes admission, small popcorn, and a small drink! Go here for more details and to see if there’s a location near you. Keep in mind that start dates will vary by region.
Cinemark Theatres
Starting in June, participating Cinemark theaters will be kicking off their Cinemark Summer Movie Clubhouse promotion and offering up 10 tickets to select G or PG-rated movies for ONLY $5 when purchased in advance at the Box Office (that makes each movie only $0.50!). OR, if you’d rather only purchase a few tickets to select shows, you will pay just $1 per ticket at the box office! Cineplex
Starting May 17th, join them on Saturday mornings at 11AM for Cineplex Family Favourites and watch a family favourite film each week for only $2.50! Go here for details.
Classic Cinemas
Every Wednesday starting June 11th-August 6th, kid’s can watch nine G and PG rated films for only $1 each. All movies will begin at 10AM. Go here for details.
Marcus Theaters
From June 15th-August 13th, on Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays at 10AM, view your favorite family flicks for just $2! Plus, Popcorn and Fountain Drinks are only $2.50 each! Go here for details.
Harkins Theaters
Kids can enjoy a movie a week for 10 weeks, for less than $1 per film! All adults must be accompanied by children. Movies start at 9:45 and tickets on sale now at participating locations. Go here for more details.

Does anybody have ideas for Yonkers New York which theater participate in summer program for kids please thanks in advance
I’m not sure about Yonkers but the theater at New Roc City in New Rochelle participates. If you decide to go there make sure you get there extra early, the day camps tend to buy all of the tickets.

My local theatre has 1 day a week where they show a g or pg movie for free!!! Each week is a different movie and they all are movies that been on dvd for awhile, So check with small local theaters for deals.

sounds like a great idea, but all of the movies shown during workdays in the morning. Same thing with the Kids Bowl Free…….. At least in my city. Sigh, need a vacation in the summer
I agree. It’s tough for us working parents. All the fun activities for my daughter are at the craziest times.
