I was recently in my local Walmart and the cashier told me that they no longer give overage on coupons. Has anyone else heard of this revision to their policy?
I was looking at their coupon policy last night and it still states that overage can be applied to the overall order.
Yes I am in utah and my Wal mart said the same no overage 🙁
I contacted corporate Walmart by email and three days later I received a call from my local store. They said the overage is still in effect and gave me the money that i was due for overage.

I went yesterday and they had AA batteries on sale for $5.77. So after 2 $10 giftcards and $4 in coupons, I’m only paying $0.70 for 4 packs of batteries!
Walmart is my hero right now. My soon to be 4 year old decided she wanted a Frozen Birthday party last week (instead of Doc McStuffins which she had orginally told me she wanted. Well…I had no idea how hard it is to locate Frozen items not overpriced. I was looking for a gift for her, the mini figure set and a tshirt. I found a Frozen beach towel (something she had asked for $9.97), a set of mini figures (for the cake $24.00) and an Elza t-shirt ($6,00) and added in a matching bright pink skirt ($4.97). The only other thing I will order is a frozen ballon to complete the party!

Walmart will no longer override if coupon does not scan. I ran into this at my local Walmart. Called the corporate office and they said policy says must be a scannable coupon. Badically if you have a printable or one from thd Sunday paper and you get a beep when they scan. Can not use that coupon.
I had the same problem last night, I typically don’t go to Wal-Mart due to the fact that if they don’t scan they have to get a manager to over ride, but now they won’t take the coupon at all. Think I will stick to Target, they are so much friendly their anyway, it’s an extra 40min drive but well worth it.
Target is my store. I feel Walmart is not coupon friendly

Just went to Walmart today but didn’t see this post first. I did get a couple good deals myself. The Simply Lemonades are on price cut for $2 so with the .75 ip it’s only 1.25/bottle! Also found the Lance Bold sandwich crackers for 2.50 for 1.50 after 1.00 ip, YoCrunch singles for .66 and used $1/4 mfg q so only .41 each, and Smuckers grape jam, the extra large jars for .98 after 1.00 ip.

It was with all the different color clearance stickers in store you may be able to use coupon but it is the same table just whote instead of yellow on top at my local toysrus. I had no coupons.
