They wouldn’t accept my tide coupon. Register kept beeping and said it was invalid. Hope others have better luck!

    • Becky

I had the same issue but I kept telling the lady it should work and she finally called a manager and had to manually push it through. I always have issues with coupons at Walgreens

    • teresa

I had the same issue at walgreens. They had to use a different register.

    • Jenn

I had no problem at my Walgreens. Used 2 $1 off 1 and 1 $2 off 2. Strange.

Collin if you use the Banana Boat, be careful. It was on the news last week that a recent consumer reports test of sunscreens revealed most do not have the SPF they say. Banana Boat was one of the worst offenders – the actual SPF was way off what it said (which explains why my husband was burning with SPF 50 after 1 hr!). The spray and the BB Kids were really bad! The best two were Coppertone WaterBabies SPF 50 and Walmarts Equate spray SPF 50 – they were the amount of SPF they said.

Thanks for the info!! πŸ™‚ I was going to load up on this deal

    • holly

Had the same thing happen to my husband with SPF 50 Banana Boat. Thanks for posting. Yikes!

      • CW

Oh Holly, glad my hubby wasn’t the only one (not good of course but just that my hubby is not an anomaly lol). It was on John Matarese’s “Don’t Waste Your Money” segment and another Hip2Saver said last week it was featured on their news.

    • DC

I had not heard about this, but now it makes sense why I got sunburnt the other day at the beach! I loaded up on Banana Boat SPF 50 and reapplied all day…and STILL got fried, which usually doesn’t happen if I use sunscreen. I used the lotion, not the spray…wonder if it makes a difference??

      • CW

We bought like 4 bottles of the SPF 50 lotion (orange bottles). They said sprays and lotions and specifically mentioned the BB Kids (I believe it’s a yellow tube). Ours was SPF 50 regular, not kids. Try Googling John Matarese’s Don’t Waste Your Money. It was on last week. I’m not a fan of Walmart but this report makes me want to go in that store and buy the Equate SPF 50 brand that got the best rating!

    • Turquoice

Ugh. I just bought 2 BB sprays and 4 of the after-sun ones. πŸ™

      • CW

No mention was made about the after sun products, at least.

    • Shayla

I have to question not this but the product themselves and shelf life. I have noticed lately a lot of the sunscreen no longer has a best if used by date on =( I will say, I have never had an issue with the Banana Boat Sport SPF 30, but typically limit the amount of sun exporsure to under an hour and half when you would have to reapply. According to a site I read last year, the Coppertone Babies SPF 50 Pure and Simple got the good rating, not just the regular pink bottle. Again, best bet is especially in water to reapply generously, especially with the spray kind that has a tendency to wear off.

    • Kelly

Consumer reports rated Targets Up & Up brand as one of the best for sunscreens πŸ™‚

This campaign has reached its print limit and has ended.

Great deal on the big pool noodles. I cut these up and use them for keeping all my boots up straight. Those cute boot”savers” are $10 each, and with all my boots, I needed to find a cheaper alternative. Cut up the pool noodles so they just peek out of your boots, and they will stay nice all year.

    • mb

      thanks for the idea

    • Mami2four

Wow, why didn’t I think of that! Great idea, thanks for sharing.

    • Melanie

      That is a great idea!!!

    • Anny

That’s a great idea!! I’m going to do that!

    • Mary T.

I have also seen these noodles used for bumpers on the inside wall’s of a garage. Cut the noodle from top to bottom in half and secure on wall. Place it at the proper level, so when you open your car door it keeps it from banging into the wall.

      • visitor3

        Brilliant! I am copying!

      • Brooke

ive also seen a noodle used under a bed sheet for little kids so they dont fall out of the bed while sleeping (tossing and turning) way cheaper then the plastic rails they sell and works just as well ….

  5. Sharon

They are also great under the sheets for child guards to keep them from falling out of the bed and cut small and slit them and put on door so little fingers don’t get smashed when they close doors.

  6. LaLa

Pinterest has tons of cool ideas for pool noodles!

  7. arasafina@gmail.com

Which insert is the tide in

  8. Peggy

Ibotta is offering $1.25 back on banana boat too

  9. Brittany

I had an idea on the Tide detergent and was curious if anyone knows if it would work…
    Buy two tide detergents= $5.98
Use $2/2 Tide coupon found on coupons.com
Then, Use two $1/1 Tide coupons also found on coupons.com
    Final cost= $1.98 for both/ $0.99 each

    • Rosanne

No, unfortunately that would not work because you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item. In your idea you would unfortunately be using two manufacture coupons per item. πŸ™‚

      • Brittany

aww πŸ™ well thanks for the advice Rosanne

  10. Heather

OMG I’m dying seeing these Banana Boat deals posted with no mention of the Ibotta rebate! Sooooooo currently on Ibotta there are quite a few different Banana Boat rebates valued at $1.25 each!! Plus if you stock up like I did, (buy three different kind) there’s a $6 bonus! And if you got the milk rebate plus any two others another $0.50 bonus! They also have a new cash out option similar to Paypal which gives you an extra $5 the first time you cash out!

    • nanasadventurers2014

Thank you for the info Heather, I really had forgotten about the Ibotta deal and did not know about the bonus.

      • mel

not everyone gets the same ibotta offers. I have them in my gallery but I have friends in different states that didn’t get the Banana Boat rebate. I believe they expire after midnight tonight though if you do have them.

  11. Lisa

My walgreens said you can’t use a coupon on a free item with the B1G1 free. She tried anyway because I go in every week and were friends and it wouldn’t take it. Anyone else hear about this? Also thanks about the BB sunblock info that would explain the sunburns πŸ™

    • stephanie

I haven’t personally experienced it…but yes, others have had issues with not accepting a coupon for the free item. Even though their coupon policy states they will. I ran into a problem last weekend…they wouldn’t adjust down the price of the coupon (item was on sale and price was less than coupon) their policy says they will do that….and she wouldn’t. :/

  12. ashley

all the dove coupons hit their maximum number of prints πŸ™
