So would it better for us to wait on the Huggies deal and purchase a few packs to get to $40 then with the $2/1 and $2.50/1 coupons that you mentioned yesterday?

    • Laura

That’s what i was wondering too.

    • Amber

I’m pretty sure huggies is considered to be baby and not household.

      • Amber

Ok, just saw the coupon. It’s very product specific. Luvs and pampers are included but not huggies.

      • Holly

It is a P&G offer so Luvs and Pampers are all that is included.

  2. Lynn

    Code food works now

    • Whitney

You can text for it now but on top the date says it isn’t valid until the first.

  3. Hunter

    Huggies isn’t included

So….is Target the new CvS for bargains? Lol! But I think u said u didn’t have a CVS near you anymore so maybe that’s why I see so many Target bargains? I think I need to start shopping there. You (and your dad lol) were so convincing in your other video 🙂 I still like using my qpons and ecbs at cvs to pay $0 OOP and get bucks back 🙂 thanks for all u do Collin!!!

    • Mia

lucky you to have CVS, but Target is awesome last couple months…

    • Lori

CVS has been disappointing lately but Target has totally picked up the game!

      • Karen

Cvs used to be my favorite and now it’s my least favorite. Never get any extra coupons and if you don’t have those it’s very disappointing!

        • mel

Summer months are notorious for being slow (at CVS). I burned my ecbs down to $15 and thankfully I don’t have any expiring in the next 2 weeks b/c this upcoming ad sucks. But Target, WOWZA, have the deals been ROCKIN!

        • mel

I went almost a year w/out MCM coupons and email offers for $/$$ & % off, and I was still able to work the deals and get very low to $0 OOP. Don’t get dependent on them, that’s how they suck you in!

    • Gloria

I have always thought that EVERY store has their weeks, and some go on longer “binges” than normal. I personally loved CVS’s gas deal and huggies like 2-4 weeks ago. BUT you cant beat B1G1 pizzas so… really I think it depends on the day. I am lucky to have publix and bi-lo around me, usually their weeks alternate who gets better lo

    Is Scott toilet paper?

  6. Andrea

Not sure if this has already been posted or not. Text THANKS for more great mobile coupons!

Would this be a good time to stock up on diapers? I’m 16 weeks pregnant with my first baby and I’m clueless about how much to pay for diapers and having a hard time keeping up with the best deals. I think I want Pampers because I keep hearing the best things about them compared to other brands.

    • Anne

Don’t stress too much now about diapers. Your baby might leak through or be allergic to a certain brand so I wouldn’t advise stocking up now. There will be good deals after baby is born, too! I would recommend getting several packs of NB diapers so you and/or your partner or family don’t have to run out for diapers in the first month! For NB size diapers, around 18 cents/diaper is a great price. You have to do the math to compare a $8 jumbo pack vs a $25 super box to see which is the better deal.

      • newcouponer

Agree with Anne…not to stock too much on diapers…With my baby I bought two economy size of Pampers Brand diapers but unfortunately my baby was allergy to that brand then switched to Huggies..you never know which brand suits your newborn…My Little one is now 1yr old and I still have 2 unused boxes of Pampers (newborn size)

      • MommySpendsLess

I disagree…respectfully 🙂 I did some research online and based on other parents’ experiences I figured out the average of each size that most babies go through and set my target stockpile just under the low end of each of those numbers. By the time my daughter was born I had the top of her closet stacked with diapers and wipes in a variety of brands and sizes. That way I was always at least a pack or two ahead, even when she changed sizes so I could almost always wait for a great deal. I also wouldn’t get a lot of NB size diapers. People coming to a baby shower are most likely to give size NB or size 1 and most (all?) hospitals let you take the remainder of the package of NB size that they provide. My daughter was 8lbs7oz at birth so I think we used maybe 2 packages of NB size then she went up to size 1 (I also found it was better to move up a little early than try to stretch through another package that was getting small.) My stock up price was $4/jumbo but that was a few years ago (my “baby” is almost 5yo now) when CVS was awesome and Huggies was changing their diaper names and package counts (lots of $3off one jumbo manuf. coupons!). I was lucky that my daughter didn’t seem to have allergies/sensitive skin or blow out issues with a particular brand but at the low prices I was paying I felt I could give them away, keep them for a baby shower or even resell them if there turned out to be a big problem with a certain brand/kind.

I agree, I had stocked up on Huggies for my son and he ended up having horrible rashes with that brand. Pampers Sensitive was the only one that worked for him.
Definitely wait to stock up. Diaper deals are always ongoing somewhere 🙂

    • Michelle

I had my son in March and we chose pampers as well. My husband loves the indicators. Any diapers you have that you don’t use can be returned for store credit at multiple places, without receipts. We’ve returned to both Walmart and babies r us when he outgrew a size too quickly. Also, while I would definitely have some nb size, size 1 starts at only 8lbs so I would get more of those. Also as a side note, when doing your registries I would put your due date as a couple weeks sooner, so you get your discount in time to use it!

      • mel

If anything, stock up on bigger sizes like 2, 3, 4. My son was on the tiny side, 6lb, 7oz, but he outgrew NB’s in a week! But when I moved up to size 1 in Huggies, he leaked all over. So I switched to Pampers Swaddlers and those worked great. When he got a little bigger, I tried different brands (Luvs, Walgreens, CVS, KMart, but always returned to Pampers) Oddly enough when he started potty training, he would leak through the Pampers Easy Ups so I had to use Huggies Pull Ups! Congrats and don’t stress too much. There will always be diaper deals!

    • mona

I agree with Anne, my 1st was allergic to huggies and I had a whole bunch!

    • Stefanie

Thanks to everyone for the great advice and comments! 🙂

I have three kids. My daughters I loved pampers..with my son I always choosr huggies as a priority…and NEVER liked luvs. ..I typically shop for diapers at cvs. Stock up is when they have spend 30$ get 10$ ups…I I buy three pacjages use three coupons and them get my ups..I usually pay 3-4 dollars a pack for huggies..and wipes I always have a tub of sensitive wipes for days when he gets a rash but mostly try to buy bulk like 2 cents or less a wipe… 🙂 hth

I have always thought that EVERY store has their weeks, and some go on longer “binges” than normal. I personally loved CVS’s gas deal and huggies like 2-4 weeks ago. I advise stocking up on them. I am 30 weeks pregnant today and I regret not getting the most deals I could. Few things to keep note of: Only buy them when you cant resist the sell, dont buy too much of one size, note that you may have to go to your local walmart and see if they exchange different sizes or a different brand for what you do have. I firmly believe that any of these diapers can be a good fit, but some babies skin is too sensitive for Huggies. Also dont go past size 4 because you never know when they are ready to sit on the big boy/girl toilet lol. Remember that because Pampers has a better reputation of not leaking doesnt necessarily you get the best value for what you buy. If you are quick enough to change them I am sure any diaper works great if it has few “blowouts”! I really hope this helps and congratulations to you! Its going to be a long, wonderous, emotional ride.

    • Rachel

Stefanie, I’d say go ahead and stock up…the best prices 8-12 cents a diaper) are not necesarily availble every week. But to save your sanity, get separate receipts (or even gift receipts for yourself) when possible and tape those to the boxes. That way you’ll be able to easily exchange sizes or even return in the rare event your baby has a reaction. The barcodes vary by store, so, for example, you can’t always take a box of Pampers from Target back to CVS, or vice versa. I stockpiled about 3,000 diapers before my now 19-month LO was born and we just bought a few more boxes a couple of months ago. She was born in the late fall and I can’t tell you how happy I was to not have to worry about finding diaper deals or running out into the cold just because we were out out of diapers.

Just my thoughts. Best wishes to you!
