Sent from reader, Jeff:

I went for a morning run the other day down the road from my house and ran past this billboard that made me laugh. It was covered by a bunch of trees and you could only read it from a side angle up close. It read “Give your business a jolt.”

I would say I don’t think it’s a surprise that there’s no business that’s jumped at the chance to advertise here. I think the only jolt a business would want is to have a lightning bolt strike down those trees that are blocking the advertisement! 😉

HAPPY FRIDAY! 😀

Depending on what state this is in, some states really care about their trees! 🙂

No kidding, in CO there is a huge fuss in one of our cities where fliers are going up on all the trees with the lorax and signs saying save our trees b/c they have to expand the side walk. They have to tare down the trees and they are still putting in new ones.

Can someone please answe my question. ..I bought a buy one get one coppertone and had 2-2dollar coupons but wallgreens said I can only use one coupon bc the other is free..is this accurate ? Ty in advance

Collin posted this morning that Walgreens changed their coupon policy on BOGO’s. It must have already gone into affect. You’d think they could have let it slide and warned you about the policy change though!

      • Tobey

All of my stores stopped doubling coupons and now this. I am so sad

        • Cassy

We all had to have seen this coming hence why we stock pile. I know I did. My husband I knew it was all a matter of time before the bubble bursted on the couponing trend

          • Stacy

It’s really only Walgreens. I stopped couponing there a few years ago.. I’m sure many people will now too. CVS and Target all the way!

I actually like the message that you can see on the billboard with the trees in the way-“GIVE”. I think that’s a very good message to see every day =]

Aaaaaahhhhhhh, that’s a sweet way of looking at it 🙂 !

    How bizarre lol

I would never wish for the jolt on the tree…since I love trees… they give us shade and oxygen
