WOW! I just got up to speed on their new coupon policy, soooo glad I purchased Shea Moisture products when I did! At b1g1 the ladies at the cosmetic counters gave me $1/1 MQ to use on all my purchases and this was at every store I went to. I bought organic bar soap (lemongrass & ginger and coconut hibiscus) for $1.15 pr bar! Totally stocked up on them plus these bars are rated “ZERO”on EWG’s web site as very safe.

I did the same thing! It’s one of the only body washes that my toddler can use, so I stocked up before the new policy changes occurred. I used (2) regional $2/1 coupons, so we paid about $6 total! I love the EWG site. I’m a Derm nurse and it is a very useful tool for patients!
Just an FYI: if you buy the Natures Bounty hair skin and nails gummies a $4 off coupon for Natures Bounty prints out. I bought 2 and then gave my mom the $4 off and she got 2 bottles of those gummie vitamins for $3.99!! I thought that was great considering regular price for one is $7.99

Although this sort of goes without saying, people be sure to check the food before you buy it (and probably OTC items too!). I went by my local Walgreens on Friday to see how big that box of bisquick was. Two boxes on the shelf were expired (mid March), so I alerted two associates and took them off of the shelf. Much to my dismay, I went back this morning and they were placed back on the shelf!!!! I was told it was the management (not assistant management) who put it back on the shelf. Totally disgusting and unacceptable.
This has actually happened at the Walgreens I shop at twice. They had apricots on sale and all the canisters were expired. I pulled them and next time I shopped they were back on the shelf. And then it happened again. After I use my last $8 RR, I won’t step foot in there.
I was so disgusted about them putting it back on the shelf that I wrote Corporate.
CW..and if you’re lucky you’ll get a nice corporate response about how much they value you and nothing will have changed.
One time I saw several Milka chocolates on clearance, I checked the expiration date and saw that they barely expired and asked the manager if she would sell me them to me for like a $1 a piece (love Milka). She said no because they were already expired and that she needed to throw them away, I insisted that I would not mind because I will eat them in less than a week, but she said NO.
For the Reach toothbrushes, be on the lookout for a value pack which comes with an extra toothbrush. So glad I looked at the back of the rack & noticed that they had maybe 2 or 3 of these value packs. Sneaky, sneaky 😉 And for the hair ties, I was able to get one with a hair clip attached with it.
They only had the value packs and individual brushes at my Wags. The value packs were clearly labeled, but they didn’t produce a RR. Luckily my cashier knew what she was doing and was able to give me my RR. If your Wags doesn’t print a RR for the value pack, there’s a $1 off any Reach toothbrush coupon that can still give you the individual brushes for free.
I knew you couldn’t use coupons on free items anymore but my wags didn’t let me use coupons on the 50% off items today. Anyone else have this issue?
Brandy, do you think maybe if the one that was 50% off was less than the coupon value that’s why they won’t do it? You know the other change said coupons can’t exceed the price of the item…did that happen? If not, I don’t know what the issue is.
Suave lotions were not included in the sale. Also the cashier told me that I would not be able to use 2 coupons on BOGO 50% off items. I told him per the new policy it’s only on BOGO free items. He insisted that I couldn’t because of “taxes”

I was totally bummed today. Went to 3 Walgreens for the 2 packs of reach toothbrushes and all were out!!! Not sure how the RR would work if I have to get a raincheck.

I did the Tide deal yesterday. I did not receive my 5,000 points or $5 in rewards. When I asked, clerk called manager over. He stated that the $20 you have to spend is after coupons are taken off due to the new coupon policy. I re-worked it and spent $20 after coupons and I did receive the rewards. I am not liking this new policy change at all.

SS means “Smart Source”–it’s one of the coupon inserts in the paper. The toothbrush coupon was in the Smart Source insert from a month ago on 5/4.
Are register rewards and balance rewards the same thing? I see that the Reach toothbrush deal mention Register Rewards instead of Balance rewards.
Register rewards are not the same as Balance Rewards. When you purchase a product with RR, when you checkout you will get a printed coupon to use on your next purchase.
Oh, I get it. So I did the reach Toothbrush deal. I purchased 4 single toothbrush and 2 multi packs and I only received one $2 RR. I thought that I would get $2 for each. Either there is a cap of one per deal or it was rung up incorrectly.
