So I was going through the Walgreens deals trying to cook up a scenario for you all to make use of the Points Booster promo in ad coupon Valid through Tuesday, 6/10. And… hmmm… lots of the deals require insert coupons that may be regional, printables that you may have already printed and used etc.

I used up a $7 RR I had that was expiring. I got the Walgreens generic Prilosec 42 ct. ($21.99) that had a $10 Walgreens coupon in the ad, with the $7 RR. Then I bought items to cover the remainder (the Wrigleys 5 gum with $1 coupons, get 1,000 BR back on 2). $21.99-$10 Wags coupon-$7RR= 4.99 for one box (great price). The 3.01 of the remaining $25 was 4 packs of Wrigley’s gum. I walked out spending $8.99 but got 7,000 balance rewards points back…not bad.

The kelloggs shakes are not free with rewards back at my local shop. Guess this is regional 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How odd… is it not listed in your weekly ad?

      • Maria Ancheta

Heads up at target, the 25-ct simple wipes are on clearance for $1.48, plus they were still part of the buy 3 get $5GC deal. This is in Southern California. I went to 4 targets and they were all wiped out.

        • jac

Haha–“wiped” out! Clever pun. You meant to do that, right?

      • New Yorker

It is not in the ad for New York. I think often we get a few pages less. 🙁

You should try looking at the cvs ad for New York…sometimes it is just one page.

  3. Serenity Aust

The beef jerky here in WA is priced at 6.99 regularly, so awesome deal!! And the Kelloggs shakes were in our ad…..

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yay!!

  4. hr

I was wondering if you use the points booster coupon once can you use it again if you have another coupon.

    • jac

Pretty sure you can. I assume you can make as many purchases as you want with the points booster, as long as you meet the required $25 spend each time.

  5. Rejina Cordova

Does this apply everywhere or just certain states?

  6. Karen

My Dollar Tree had both those Airbornes. I used the $1 q to get it free, think it was iP for 1.50/1.

  7. Michele

    Carefree coupon not printing.

  8. Lindak

I bought 8 beef jerky that had $1.50 off 2 peelies and the Kelloggs shake. I used $5.50 in Rewards so the total came to $13.91. I received 5000 aarp points and 5000 points booster, plus $1.50 reward for the shake.
Then I went down the street to a different Walgreens and did the Schick women’s hydro scenario, using the points booster again. I had to use 2 $4 coupons and 1 $2 because I kept getting Java errors on my ipad and iphone and couldn’t print a third $4 coupon, but still came out great in my opinion.
The cashier said you can use the booster coupon as many times as you want.

    • Kim

Can you show me how to print on iPad ,please

      • Andrea

You need to have an HP wireless. You can pick one up at Walmart for about $50. As far as I know you can only print coupons from coupons.com. You will need to download the app. Once you select the coupons you want to print it should prompt you to locate or select a printer. The one negative is that you can not print your coupons in black ink only so it ends up using your color. You can also print from iPhones and iPods too. Print 2 from each device. Hope that helps.

    • Andrea

Are you able to print coupons on your iPad and iPhone from websites? I have only printed from the coupons.com app.

    • Mona

I was gonna ask the same thing. Coupons.com doesn’t let me print from my iPad or iPhone. How’d u get that to work?

      • Andrea

Mona, you need to have a HP wireless printer and the wireless needs to be connected prior to printing. And when printing from your iPhone you do need to make sure you are connected to wifi. See my other comments for more info on printing.

  9. Babs

    Collin,
Our Walgreens ad is not the same as yours. No Coppertone, Revlon lipstick, or Oral B toothbrush. 🙁

  10. craftybohomama

Our Dollar Tree had Airborne for 1$! Not sure of size etc.

  11. Lynn

I am wondering the same thing as hr. Can we use the point’s booster more than once?

    • elaine

Yes. You can do multiple transactions and earn 5,000 pts each time.

  12. Lisa

4 suave body washes $6-2$1/2 (5/18RP) get 2000pts, 2 suave lotions $4.50-$2$1.50 (5/18RP) get 1000pts, 2 ban refresh cooling clothes $5-2$2 (5/18RP) get 1000pts, 2 Benadryl allergy relief $9.98-$3/2 (6/8SS) get 3000pts. Total before coupons $25.48, after coupons $13.48, and you will get 12,000 points with the boost coupon!!

    • rachel

so the suave body lotions are $4.50 for 2 bottles? thank you for this scenario

  13. K

I spent $30 on jerky today and totally forgot to do the $5 in points coupon!!! Think if I write them they will give it to me???

    • Stacy

Call customer service. I did that the last time and they quickly added my points. Need your receipt and card number.

      • Kaylene

Thank you! I will first thing tomorrow!!

  14. mary

I went to 2 diffrent Walgreens and the Suave lotion was not marked and when the cashier priced checked them at the second Walgreens, they did not come up buy 1 get 1 half and no points either.

    • Shel

Had the cashier scanned your Walgreens card? If not, the sale price wouldn’t have shown up. Good luck 🙂

  15. sandy

How do you get the AARP points?

  16. dang yang

Hi can you send me the redplum coupon? Through my address because I dont have a printer. I want to get the carefree

  17. steph

The ads must be regional. So frustrating when they do that.

  18. Quiana S

My local Dollar Trees carry a few Airborne varieties for only $1.

  19. Janice

Same thing here – our Dollar Tree has the 10 count Airborne (several varieties for $1!

  20. Rachel

I know what the register rewards are and how to use them, but what are the balance rewards points and how do you use them?

  21. Krystle

Don’t know if this has been mentioned yet, but if you are looking for a nice filler. I added Resolve laundry $3.79 minus $1 printable(coupons.com). Plus I will submit for the MIR from the 5/11 SS. Ended up making my trip free after RRs and BR points.

  22. randy

the 5000 points did not work at my local stor and i spent over 25 dollars and used my card but i did not work plus the manager was confused and did not know what happened

    • Me

Prescriptions, liquor, dairy and tax don’t count toward the $25
