  1. I DO DO DOP

1.99 at krogers thru late month = 0.99

      Awesome!!

Martins has these for 2.99 and you get an automatic $6 off when you buy 4. The total for 4 boxes would be $1.96, less than .50 cents per box.

  3. Daniel

They’re currently $2.98 at Walmart, so $1.98 after coupon. They’ll most likley go on sale soon at other stores so it’ll be a good thing to wait.

  4. OliV

What is the expiration date printing?

  5. christy

Meijer has these for 2.88. If you buy 5, you get $1.00 off each instantly, which would make them 1.88 before coupon, and .88 after 🙂

Yikes! 17 grams of sugar per serving on this new Protein cereal. That is almost as much as the second most sugary cereal Post Golden Crisp. I guess they had to cover up the taste of the lentils somehow.

Yikes is right! That’s crazy! Thanks for heads up on that. Did they think consumers wouldn’t notice?

Just fyi the serving size for the Protein Cheerios is double that of all other cheerios (protein cheerios serving size is 1 1/2 C vs 3/4 C in the reg) so there is actually less sugar in the Protein honey and oats than in original honey nut cheerios 🙂

Wow, that’s pretty bad! And the “11 g of protein” is counting 4 g from milk, so it only has 7 g.
      Compared with Kashi GoLean Crunch:
      –Cheerios Protein (55 g serving, 210 calories): 7 g protein, 4 g dietary fiber, 17 g sugar
      –Kashi GoLean Crunch (53 g serving, 190 calories): 8 g protein, 8 g dietary fiber, 13 g sugar

      • Jenn

Kashi is gross and I stopped eating it when it came out that they were putting ingredients not fit for human consumption into some of their products.

I just read this article earlier from my rss feeds that was interesting:

“…Here’s the funny thing – if you eat a double serving of Original Cheerios, you’ll get 6 grams of protein, almost the same the new Protein Cheerios at 7 grams! With half a glass of milk added, you’ll get 14 grams from a double serving of Original Cheerios, and only 11 grams of protein from Protein Cheerios!…”

I love reg Cheerios but wish I didn’t end up having to mix it with another cereal to up the protein and fiber content.
