Speaking from experience, DO NOT DO THIS DEAL! The couple of times I have taken advantage of these offers, Sears has tried to upsell me on unnecessary services. For example, last time I took my car in for a “cheap” oil change, they told me within two minutes of getting my car that I needed a front end alignment. Well I had just gotten that done one month before so I knew it was a lie. I even took the time to take my car back to the place where the alignment was done and they told me they have this problem all the time with Sears falsely telling customers they need work on their car when they really don’t.
Buyer beware!
I go to Sears every time my car needs an oil change and I have never had a problem. They have told me about the alignment (and so does my mechanic and Jiffy Lube) but I have shown the diagram to my husband and he has told me is nothing, but they of course show you anyways because “technically” is off a bit. I always say “no thank you” and they have never being pushy. Just my 2 cents, every service center might be different. I am in Holyoke, MA.
My biggest mistake and regret to this day was to take my car to sears. Please please please dont!! They are liars and instead of fixing my brake problem they just made it worse and i had to go back and they ended up charging me $600 more!!!! Please save yourselves the trouble, this place sucks! Might as well take your car to the dealer and know that they are legit.
I’ve gotten there 5$ oil changes, never had a problem
