I know everyone wants to use hers (completely understandable) but I wanted to mention that there’s a limit for capital one 360 of $1000 in referrals (25 checking accounts). I wouldn’t be surprised if she has reached that limit. I could be wrong, but I’m just saying. I too am very grateful for everything she does for us.
To be fair hip is her job. Not that she doesn’t do a great job and doesn’t deserve thanks and respect, but considering that this deal goes twice a year and with all her readers… is it really that big of an issue someone else wants to try and get a bonus? I don’t think there is anything wrong with using another reader’s referral link. You can do a transfer from another existing bank account, direct deposit, or use mobile deposit to take a picture of a check. They do have ATMs just not in all parts of the country.

As long as you open an account by the 3rd you’re set for the bonus. 🙂 It takes a couple of days before you can make a deposit. They send a test deposit to your regular bank account and after you confirm the amounts then you can deposit the money.
