Anyone know if you can do this offer without signing a contract? Our contract ends in August, and we’re hoping to break free from 2-year contracts.
You have to sign a 2 year contract for this price. Otherwise the phone is $500 . This is the subsidized price ($199, $149, $119) for signing the contract only.
To get the price of $199.99, you have to sign a contract. If you dont want to be in a contract, you’d have to pay the full outright price of the phone which is $700 or more.
Without contact price would be $648 with t mobile, I’ve never gotten phones with target so I don’t know if you can go through them for different carrier or not…
Husband and I got our iPhone 5c’s from boost mobile no contracts for just a little over a thousand dollars for both including tax. It has actually been better because we paid almost $200 with Verizon a month and now we pay about $130-140 this is with insurance and unlimited everything and my husband has international calling to brazil. Cool thing is every 6 on time payments we make our bill drops $5 each. We haven’t had as good of reception as Verizon but it’s not bad either. I haven’t had many dropped calls or anything.. It runs off of sprint network.
You can get the iPhone4 from Verizon’s prepaid plan for just $99. Tax and fees were just .50 above the plan price in our state. Plans started at $45 and there was a $35 activation fee. You can get extra data that lasts a few months if needed. We found it to be the best deal for getting an iPhone without paying full price or signing up for another expensive contract.

Best Buy is offering a $50 gift card when you sign a new contract/upgrade, so if you price match to Target’s 149.99 and get the $50 gift card, then it’s like paying 99.99.

I’m grandfathered in to an old Alltel plan that verizon now has. I pay 9.99 a month. I too can’t understand paying for a smart phone
I read online that Walmart is offering the 5c for i think $29 and the 5S for $99. They just recently cut the price but that is also with a 2 year contract.
Target next week Starting 7/6 iPhone 5c is $29.99 and 5s is $99.99 shows you get a $20 Gift Card activation required so i think wait till next week 🙂

Me too! I have been eligible for upgrade on my contract and phone for almost a year. I’m waiting out the 6. I hope it was worth the wait. My 4 ( not even 4s) is getting really slow.
I just have to say, after all 5 generations of iPhone and thinking I was uber-loyal to Apple, my hubs talked me into the Samsung Galaxy 5S…and I LOOOOOVE it. It’s SO much better than iPhone. SO much. Trust me, you’ll be glad you switched, if you do.
I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Why this is great deal, if your signing up with Sprint. They offered me a iPhone 5s at 49.99, free activation, and free shipping.
I recommend calling the carrier and see what they can do for you. I was a new customer to Sprint, and excited to sign up for a cheaper monthly plan and a nice phone.
My 2 year isn’t up until August hope for a good deal then!
