The credit should show when you add $25 in items sold and shipped by Amazon.
I just downloaded and there is no $5 credit on my account anywhere. How do you actually get the credit?
You won’t see it until you add $25 worth of products sold and shipped by amazon. It will show up under gift cards as $5 promotional balance but it most likely won’t work. Good luck!
Yep, I did that, the items says ships and sold by Amazon. No $5 credit anywhere on the payment page or elsewhere. Hmmmm……
I did this the last time it was offered. I ended up doing a chat with them and they took the $5 off my order. It was pretty quick so that may be something to try.

This never worked for me. I don’t want to have to call like other users and waste 45 minutes… just a warning.
Okay…I actually chatted with them and told them it never worked and they resolved the issue in less than 5 minutes.
I downloaded it, and works great. the item does have to be sold and shipped by amazon. I went to check out and the discount applied.
I was reading a thread on Amazon last night where the majority of people did not get the credit after adding the button/extension to their browser. I’ve tried two separate times and nothing. So, I’ve sent them an email. Crossing fingers that they will grant it.

Ok, just to help anyone confused by this. What you have to do is install the toolbar. Then delete anything in your shopping cart on amazon. Then use the little amazon icon on your toolbar to search for the item you want to buy. If you are buying more than one item each item has to be searched for by clicking on the icon in your toolbar. Then finally you can go trough the checkout process and you’ll see it applied. It took me a while to figure this out a couple weeks ago. My issue was I already had items in my cart which messed it up.
