That “extend your membership for a month” rule does NOT apply to student prime memberships.
I’ve had a student memebership for 3 years and I’ve gotten extensions when things arrive late. The first time I didn’t even ask for it (because I didn’t know about it), they just offered it.
That’s good to know. Their site specifically says, though, that the extension offer does not apply to student memberships.

How do you cancel your free amazon prime? I received it free because I am a college student, but I would like to cancel it once my free 6 months is up. I cannot find where to cancel it on this website.
