I’m sorry, correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there a class action lawsuit on this brand???, i think my son received a postcard regarding such
      Ijs..

      • Inda

Yes. The lawsuit didn’t say assert that the shoes are in any way bad for you, just that the company had claimed the shoes were good for you without any scientific proof. They might be the best thing in the world, but there wasn’t proof for them to advertise as such.

        • Kim

          Thanks…..

Just because there’s a class action lawsuit doesn’t mean there is something wrong with the product. Usually class action lawsuits have do with advertising. In this case they are accused of falsely advertising certain benefits associated with certain Vibram footwear.

Yes. The lawsuit didn’t assert that the shoes are in any way bad for you, just that the company had claimed the shoes were good for you without any scientific proof. They might be the best thing in the world, but there wasn’t proof for them to advertise as such.

How are these for overpronators? I run with a shoe with arch support, normally. Some say that bare foot running or minimalist running forces you to run more on the entire front ball of your foot, making it better for overpronators. What do you think of these for running?

    • Andrea

I’m not a runner but I wear them all the time. They do force you more on the balls of your feet. I used to walk on the outsides of my feet so bad my pinky toes curled, had week ankles and heal stomped. My pinky toes are straight, I can spread my toes, stronger ankles, and have more balance. Great shoes. Wear nothing else if I don’t have to.

        Andrea,

How far can you walk in these? I’m curious because I have plantar fasciitis and need something to support my heel. Can you wear all day or not? TIA.

        • Andrea

I wear these all day every day but you have to work up to it. A few hours a day until your feet adjust. Your feet will let you know when you’ve had to much. Toes get tired at first from being spread. I actually can’t stand other shoes anymore. Hth!

      • Staci

        Thank you

      • kelly

        • Staci

I flipping love the bikila!!!! I think that lawsuit is bs, every other shoe I have ever tried to run in have me shin splints or felt heavy and horrible, but these are perfect I was able to run sooooooo much smoother not to mention they saved me a few times from falling on my face
